We’ve selected 21 candidates to choose from this past week’s games

High school football is back in the Sunshine State and so begins our player of the week polls for areas all around the state. Teams started off the regular season with some great individual performances in Week 10.

As such, we have 21 athletes nominated this week for the SBLive’s Northeast Florida high school football offensive player of the week award from October 26-27, and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Saturday, November 4th at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week's poll. 


Northeast Florida Offensive Player of the Week

Here are this week's nominations:

Turner Glenn, QB, Episcopal School: Glenn completed 12-of-19 passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-12 win over Wolfson. 

Timothy Cole, QB, Ribault: The Trojans' quarterback completed 14-of-21 passes for 167 yards and three touchdowns in a 18-7 win over Baldwin. 

Neshawn Jacobs, RB, Baldwin: Jacobs rushed for a game-high 147 yards on 29 carries and scored a touchdown in the Indians' loss to Ribault. 

Tramell Jones, QB, Mandarin: The Florida State commitment completed 9-of-13 passes for 181 yards and three touchdowns in a 43-0 win over Sandalwood. 

Tiant Wyche, RB, Mandarin: Wyche rushed for 113 yards on six carries and scored a touchdown in the win over the Saints. 

Auston Harris, RB, First Coast: Harris carried the ball 19 times for 120 yards and scored three touchdowns in First Coast's 28-27 win over Fletcher. 

Mark Miller, RB, Raines: The Vikings' tailback rushed for 102 yards on 14 attempts and scored four touchdowns in Raines' 40-8 win over Andrew Jackson. 

DJ Moore, QB, Bolles: The Coastal Carolina commitment threw for 326 yards and three touchdowns in a 52-18 victory over Bishop Kenny. 

Naeem Burroughs, WR, Bolles: The talented sophomore wide receiver caught seven passes for 203 yards and two touchdowns in the win over the Crusaders. 

Edward Jordan, QB, Beachside: Jordan completed 16-of-25 passes for 178 yards and four touchdowns in a 49-0 over North Florida Educational Institute. 

John Bishop, QB, Bishop Snyder: The Bishop Snyder quarterback completed 10-of-12 passes for 203 yards and three touchdowns in a 32-21 win over Orangewood Christian. 

Laython Biddle, RB, Bartram Trail: Biddle had a big night in a 45-42 win over Oakleaf, rushing for a game-high 150 yards and three touchdowns. 

Vincent Galella, RB, Tocoi Creek: Galella carried the rock 21 times for 121 yards and a touchdown in the Toros' 29-28 win over Flagler Palm Coast. 

Dylon Ruiz, RB, Orange Park: The running back rushed for 146 yards on 26 carries in a 41-22 win over Middleburg. 

Aden Ealy, RB, St. Joseph Academy: Ealy carried the ball 25 times for 206 yards and two touchdowns in a 56-14 win over Legacy Charter. 

Bryce Frick, QB, Nease: Frick accounted for 315 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns in a 24-23 upset win over Ponte Vedra. 

Shamarion Gibbs, RB, Yulee: Gibbs rushed for 121 yards and scored two touchdowns in a 33-6 win over West Nassau. 

Jason Watson, WR, Menendez: The Falcons' wide receiver caught nine passes for 97 yards and two touchdowns in a 14-12 win over Matanzas. 

Benny Lewis, RB, Baker County: The running back rushed for 167 yards and three touchdowns in the Wildcats' 28-6 win over Fernandina Beach. 

Colin Hurley, QB, Trinity Christian Academy: The LSU commitment completed 20-of-24 passes for 287 yards and three touchdowns in a 40-9 win over Providence School. 

Myles Simmons, WR, St. Augustine: Simmons led the way in a 49-9 win over Clay, catching four passes for 69 yards and four touchdowns.
