We’ve selected 14 candidates to choose from this past week’s games

High school football is back in the Sunshine State and so begins our player of the week polls for areas all around the state. Teams started off the regular season with some great individual performances in Week 6.

As such, we have 14 athletes nominated this week for the SBLive’s Northeast Florida high school football offensive player of the week award from September 28-29, and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Saturday, October 7th at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week's poll. 


Northeast Florida Offensive Player of the Week

Congratulations to last week’s winner: Ty'Ren Randolph, QB, Raines. 


Here are this week's nominations.

Laython Biddle, RB, Bartram Trail: Folks got a good look at what Biddle and Trujillo can do when together in the backfield. The back ran for 298 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-28 win over Fleming Island. 

Riley Trujillo, QB, Bartram Trail: Trujillo back in the lineup does wonders for the Bears. The UCF commit threw for 263 yards and three touchdowns. 

Ty’Ren Randolph, QB, Raines: Last week’s winner just made the list agains Randolph threw for 160 yards, two touchdowns and also rushed for 82 and two scores in a 26-24 win over Riverside. 

King-William Johnson, QB, Andrew Jackson: The signal caller led the way in a 26-20 win over Ribault, throwing for 72 yards, two touchdowns and rushing for 150 and a score. 

Tony Williams, RB, Ed White: Williams needed just nine carries to produce 140 yards and two touchdowns in a 22-0 win over Westside. 

Kameron Mills, RB, Sandalwood: The running back chipped in through the air and ground, rushing for 55 yards and receiving adding 130, two touchdowns in a 21-14 loss to Nease. 

Marcelis Tate, QB, Fletcher: The USF commitment completed 9-of-12 passes for 187 yards and four touchdowns in a 41-0 rout of Terry Parker. 

Rodney Tisdale, QB, First Coast: Tough keeping Tisdale off this list as the quarterback completed 12-of-22 passes for 164 yards and four touchdowns in a 31-8 win over Englewood.

Jaydan Jenkins, QB, Middleburg: Jenkins made it happen with his legs in a 36-0 win over Ridgeview as the quarterback rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown. 

Benny Lewis, RB, Baker County: The running back rushed for 83 yards and two touchdowns in a 21-0 victory over West Nassau. 

Brian Case, RB, Ponte Vedra: Case had himself another strong outing and piled up 110 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-0 win over Flagler Palm Coast. 

Harrison Garrido, RB, Creekside: In the Knights’ 38-20 win over Oakleaf, Garrido rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown. 

Edward Jordan, QB, Beachside: Jordan is making his appearance on this list a weekly deal after he threw for 216 yards and four touchdowns last week. 

Vincent Galella, RB, Tocoi Creek: Galella led the way in a 24-19 win over previously unbeaten Palatka, rushing for a game-high 184 yards and a touchdown.
