Treasure Coast rolls up 66 points in win over Jesuit

The Titans are off and running at 2-0 after soundly defeating the Tigers in an offensive explosion

PORT SAINT LUCIE, FLORIDA - Last season was a tough season for the Treasure Coast Titans.

Expectations were high and the win total was little. Four wins and a grueling tough regular season schedule equaled mixed results for the Titans.

Treasure Coast started off 0-3 in 2022 before notching its first win of the season. This year, however, is different and for all the right reasons.

After defeating Kissimmee Osceola 22-8 last week, avenging a loss from last year, Treasure Coast nabbed another similar kind of victory Friday night. The Titans put on an offensive workshop against Jesuit's defense and rolled to a 66-28 victory to improve to 2-0.

Jesuit (1-1) led 7-0 when Treasure Coast answered on a 15-yard touchdown pass from Ahmar Atwell to Gabriel Avin. Both teams traded scores on following possessions and after one quarter, the teams had already scored 41 points.

Treasure Coast (2-0) created some separation in the second quarter when running back George Roberts sprinted 30 yards to pay dirt and gave the Titans a commanding 32-15 advantage. From there, it would be all Treasure Coast the rest of the way.

The Titans would out-score the Tigers 34-13 the rest of the way, highlight by another dazzling Roberts run, this time of 65 yards. Athlete Jamison Davis would also add scoring runs of 60, 1 to Titans lead in the second half and Cameron Harris scored on a 30-yard scamper in the third period.
