CIF San Diego Section 2023 football playoff brackets: Scores, matchups, game times
The brackets for the eight-division 2023 San Diego Section football tournament have been finalized.
The games kick off Friday and conclude Nov. 25. The champions (other than D6) advance to the CIF State Southern Regional championships on Dec. 1-2. State championships — winners of the regional finals — take place Dec. 8-9 at three different venues: Pasadena College, El Camino College-Torrance and Saddleback College-Mission Viejo.
Defending San Diego Section Section champions are Lincoln (Open), Mater Dei Catholic (D1), Granite Hills (D2), University City (D3), Palo Verde (D4), Classical Academy (D5) and Victory Christian (D6).
Top seeds in each bracket are Lincoln (Open), Torrey Pines (D1), Del Norte (D2), Mission Bay (D3), Mount Miguel (D4), Vincent Memorial (D5), Holtville (5-AA) and Foothills Christian (D6).
