The 2023 CIF California high school football season rolls on this week with a packed slate of CIF Sac-Joaquin games kicking off Thursday (October 5) and continuing through Saturday (October 7).
The potential must-see matchup of Week 7 features the top team in the Sac-Joaquin Section rankings putting its No. 1 ranking to the test against an unbeaten opponent.
All eyes will be on Rocklin Friday night when the No. 1 Folsom Bulldogs hit the road to face the undefeated No. 6 Rocklin Thunder in a Sierra Foothill League showdown.
Folsom usually has the upper hand in this matchup, but Rocklin only lost by a touchdown when the two met last season.

These two teams have split their last two games, and are both currently tied for third place in the Sierra Foothill League standings, which means the winner will gain the advantage in their division with the playoffs right around the corner.
