We have 10 players nominated this week for SBLive’s North Carolina High School Softball Player of the Week from March 3-9 and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Saturday, March 16 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Here are this week's nominees:

Maci Burkhart, High Point Christian

Burkhart had three hits and two RBIs in the Cougars’ 10-4 win over Charlotte Christian. The junior catcher/infielder was also 2-for-2 with 2 RBIs in a 23-4 rout of East Forsyth.

Maggie Drake, Pinecrest

Though her team lost 17-7 to Union Pines, Drake walloped a pair of home runs and had 4 RBIs.

Gabriela Mizelle, Garner

Mizelle put some crazy numbers in the Trojans’ 19-3 drubbing of Middle Creek. The 5-foot-5 junior was 4-for-4 with two home runs, two doubles and 10 RBIs. That’s right, 10 RBIs. That’s tied for the fourth all-time for a single game in NCHSAA history.

Owyen Lyall, Bandys

Lyall got it done in the circle and with the bat as the Trojans beat North Lincoln 5-2. The senior two-sport star hurled a six-hitter with nine strikeouts while going 2-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI.

Annalise Bradley, Shelby

Bradley was 5-for-6 with 4 RBI in a 21-7 win over Highland Tech. She was also 2-for-2 with an RBI in an 18-3 win over Highland Tech.

Anna Dickinson, Southern Nash

Dickinson threw a six-inning perfect game with 14 strikeouts as the Firebirds blanked Nash Central 12-0. She was also 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBIs.

Natalya Salo, Porter Ridge

Salo had two dominant pitching games for the Pirates. The senior right-hander threw a four-hitter with nine strikeouts in a 6-1 win over South Stanly. Then she tossed a three-hitter with 13 strikeouts as the Pirates blanked Ardrey Kell 6-0.

Sophia Bossolina, Athens Drive

Bossolina, a freshman, went 2-for-4 with a home run and 5 RBIs in a 17-7 win over Riverside-Durham.

Kennedy Sloan, Topsail

Sloan overpowered West Carteret on a three-hitter with 18 strikeouts as the Pirates won 7-1. She was also 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Kina Davis, South Brunswick

Davis fired a one-hitter with 18 strikeouts as the Cougars blanked South Columbus 5-0. She also smashed two home runs and had 4 RBIs in a 10-0 win over Atlantic Collegiate (S.C.) Academy.
