Springdale’s Jakayla Bunch earns Arkansas high school basketball play of the week honors (1/15/2024)

Her steal to preserve a win racked up more than 16,000 votes

Springdale’s Jakayla Bunch earned Arkansas High School Basketball Play of the Week honors for Jan. 1-7. 

Bunch’s steal in a tight game against Fayetteville preserved the victory. Her individual win garnered 16,310 votes (47.27%). Conway guard Samyah Jordan’s acrobatic runner in the lane was second with 14,065 votes (40.76%).
