J.J. Andrews, Little Rock Christian Academy boys basketball
The 6-6 sophomore scored 14 points and had 9 rebounds and 2 steals in a 58-43 loss to Westminster (Fla.) in the King Cotton Holiday Classic. He scored 11 points with 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals in a 65-50 victory over McDonough (Ga.) in the same tournament. He scored 33 points and had 19 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 blocks in a 80-79 overtime loss to Booker T. Washington (Texas) in the same tournament.
Kyle Archer, Ozark boys basketball
The 5-10 senior scored 23 points with 7 rebounds in a 63-32 victory over Johnson County Westside in the Bank Ozk Classic in Ozark. He scored 17 points with 5 rebounds in a 50-34 victory over Shiloh Christian in the championship game. For the tournament, he was named MVP with 52 points and 17 rebounds in 3 games.
Keely Blanchard, Norfork girls basketball
The 5-10 senior scored 27 points in a 69-28 victory over Alpena in the North Arkansas College Tournament. She scored 19 points in a 66-39 victory over Valley Springs in the same tournament.
Terrion Burgess, Benton boys basketball
The 6-9 forward scored 15 points with 12 rebounds in a 71-65 victory over Silsbee (Texas) at the King Cotton Classic. He scored 35 points with 8 rebounds and 5 assists in a 89-82 double-overtime loss to Archbishop Wood at the same tournament.
Makenlie Campbell, Springdale Har-Ber girls basketball
The 5-5 freshman scored 13 points with 2 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals in a 64-55 victory over Lamar at the Russellville Hunger For Hoops Tournament. She scored 29 points with 6 assists, 5 steals and 4 rebounds in a 78-62 victory over Russellville in the tournament finals and was named tournament MVP.
Alexis Cox, Conway girls basketball
The 5-9 junior scored 22 points in a 67-38 victory over Parish Episcopal (Texas) at the Sandra Meadows Classic in Duncanville, Texas. She scored 25 points in a 59-52 victory over Hebron (Texas) in the same tournament.
Courtney Crutchfield, Pine Bluff boys basketball
The senior scored 31 points with 7 rebounds and 4 assists in a 84-79 victory over Duncanville (Texas) at the King Cotton Classic. He scored 32 points in a 92-70 loss to Gonzaga College (D.C.). He scored 14 points in a 64-57 victory over St. Frances (Md.) in the same tournament.
Braiden Dewey, Mountain Home boys basketball
The 6-5 senior scored 13 points with 9 rebounds in a 56-16 victory over Junction City at the Ultimate Invitational in Mountain Home and topped 1,000 career points in the process. He scored 25 points with 7 rebounds in a 47-43 victory over Dumas in the same tournament. He scored 13 points and had 10 rebounds in a 75-65 loss to Farmington in the finals of the same tournament.
Alyson Edwards, Mansfield girls basketball
The senior scored 13 points with 8 rebounds and 3 steals in a 70-37 victory over Lincoln and topped 1,000 career points at the Billy Frye Invitational in Mansfield. She scored 12 points in a 52-18 victory over Hackett in the same tournament. She scored 8 points with 12 rebounds, 4 steals and 1 block in a 48-31 victory over Howe (Okla.) in the same tournament.
Deryeus Fowlkes, Sylvan Hills boys basketball
The sophomore scored 20 points with 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 5 steals in a 56-44 victory over Bauxite. He had 27 points, 4 rebounds and 1 steal in a 75-66 victory over Alma.
Deriyon Graydon, Pine Bluff boys basketball
The 6-6 junior scored 22 points with 16 rebounds and 3 assists in a 84-79 victory over Duncanville (Texas) in the King Cotton Classic in Pine Bluff. He scored 17 points in a 64-57 victory over St. Frances (Md.) in the same tournament.
Lexie Henry, Prairie Grove girls basketball
The 5-7 senior scored 30 points in a 54-24 victory over Lavaca in the Bank Ozk Classic. She scored 25 points in a 56-44 victory over Atkins in the championship game of the same tournament. For the tournament, she was named MVP with 73 points in three games.
Richard High, Osceola boys basketball
The 6-4 senior scored 69 points in three games at the Ronnie Brogdon Invitational in Highland and had 30 points with 10 rebounds in a 87-82 victory over Cedar Ridge.
D’Mysha James, Sylvan Hills girls wrestling
James won the Diamond State Duals at the 235-pound weight classes by pinning all of her opponents.
Shayln Lyle, Nashville girls basketball
The 5-7 junior scored 34 points in a 71-59 victory over Lafayette (Miss.) at the LRCA Holiday Classic.
Jada Maples, Earle girls basketball
The 5-10 sophomore scored 34 points in a 62-50 victory over Harrison in the Lendel Thomas Classic in Harrison.
Justin May, eStem boys basketball
The 6-2 senior scored 42 points with 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals in a victory over Maumelle Charter.
Brenaesia Moore, Star City girls basketball
The 5-9 post had 19 points and 11 rebounds in a 58-57 loss to Mena at the Lady Blackhawk Invitational in Pea Ridge. She had 15 points and 5 rebounds in a 52-43 loss to Fort Smith Southside in the same tournament and had 16 points and 4 rebounds in a 74-41 victory over Bauxite in the same tournament.
Courtland Muldrew, Springdale Har-Ber boys basketball
The 6-3 junior was named MVP of the Neosho (Mo.) Holiday Classic where he scored 39 points with 7 rebounds and 4 assists in a victory over Morrilton.
Alayna Plummer, Dermott girls basketball
The sophomore scored 31 points in a 43-38 loss to Junction City at the Southeast Arkansas Holiday Tournament.
Quay Rhodes, Monticello boys basketball
The 5-9 senior scored 32 points in a 59-49 loss to Dermott at the Southeast Arkansas Holiday Tournament.
Ty Robinson, Lake Hamilton boys basketball
The 6-4 senior scored 46 points with 12 rebounds, making 7 three-pointers and 16-of-22 shot from the floor in a 72-66 victory over Forrest City in the Kameron Hale Invitational.
Whitley Rogers, Little Rock Christian Academy girls basketball
The 5-11 sophomore scored 35 points in a 60-56 victory over Rogers at the LRCA Holiday Classic.
Layne Taylor, Farmington boys basketball
The 6-0 senior scored 13 points with 9 rebounds in a 83-30 victory over Paragould at the Ultimate Invitational at Mountain Home. He scored 50 points with 5 rebounds and 5 assists in a 75-65 victory over Mountain Home in the same tournament and earned tournament MVP honors.
