Chris Vargo (Bentworth, PA) 127 – No. 17 Vargo’s surprising win over No. 2 Jax Forrest (Bishop McCort) may have been the most unlikely outcome of the entire week given Forrest’s previous accomplishments, both nationally and internationally, including wins over collegiate wrestlers this year.

Caedyn Ricciardi (St. Peter’s Prep, NJ) 138 – Ricciardi, who is No. 12 in the country, authored a mild upset of No. 9 Jayden James of Delbarton in the state finals, 5-2. Giving James his first loss of the season on the grandest stage.
