Washington (WIAA) high school 4A boys basketball state playoffs: Live quarterfinal updates, scores, top performers, bracket updates (2/29/2024)
The WIAA Class 4A boys championships resumed Thursday afternoon with quarterfinal games in the Tacoma Dome.

Winners move to the state semifinals Friday - all with a chance to play for a WIAA championship Saturday.
Two-time defending state champion Curtis was eliminated during district play, so a new champion will be crowned in 2024. Mount Si is the tournament favorite.

CLASS 4A BOYS SUMMARIES (Bracket)
Final: No. 5 Davis of Yakima 75, No. 11 Skyview 69
Up next: Friday semifinals at 7:15 p.m. against No. 1 Mount Si.
Davis guard Finnegan Anderson won't call it his legacy game, but without Anderson on offense Thursday night against Skyview, the Pirates would almost certainly be sitting in the consolation bracket.
Anderson scored a game-high 36 points, a new career high, to lead Davis past Skyview and get the Pirates to the Class 4A semifinals Friday night. He also snagged nine rebounds.
Skyview actually outshot Davis 51% to 48%, but the Pirates got to the free-throw line 35 times in the game and sank 24 of them for a 68.6% clip at the line.
Demaree Collins recorded a team-high 31 points in the loss for Skyview.

Final: No. 1 Mount Si 71, No. 2 Tahoma 53
Up next: Friday semifinals at 7:15 p.m. against No. 5 Davis of Yakima.
It took about eight minutes of game time for Mount Si to shake off any Tacoma Dome jitters present heading into its quarterfinal matchup against Tahoma.
After that, the Wildcats did what they've done all season. Put the foot on the gas and wear the opposing team out.
Ahead by just two points after the first quarter, Mount Si stretched its lead to 12 at halftime, and it only got bigger from there.
Latt Ford scored a game-high 26 points and looked cool doing it, throwing down five dunks. Trevor Hennig added 17 points and Blake Forrest contributed 14 in the win.

Final (OT): No. 4 Glacier Peak 65, No. 3 Gonzaga Prep 58
Up next: Friday semifinals at 9 p.m. against No. 7 Richland.
Glacier Peak star guard Jo Lee struggled to find the hoop for most of the game, but he found it plenty when it mattered most.
Lee fueled a ferocious Grizzlies' comeback to upend Gonzaga Prep in overtime after trailing for nearly the entire game.

Don't let the No. 7 seed fool you, Richland is much better than where it was seeded this tournament.
The Bombers put on a clinic against Kentwood, taking down the Conquerors with ease Thursday night.
Jack Forbes poured in a game-high 26 points to lead Richland on offense. Lucas Westerfield and Lance Horntvedt each scored 18 and Josh Woodard added 10.
