Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Sunday at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced Monday, Feb. 19th. WASHINGTON NOMINEES

Emma Lena Baker, Curlew girls basketball: Posted back-to-back 30-point games (first time all year) with 32 points (three 3-pointers) against Odessa, and 30 points (four 3-pointers) against Wellpinit, both in 1B district victories.

Jaxton Caffrey, La Salle boys basketball: Gave the Lightning the win with a buzzer-beating 3-pointer against Wahluke in a road 1A district game. SCAC West leading scorer had a team-high 28 points, including six 3-pointers.

Dez Daniel, Evergreen of Vancouver boys basketball: Sophomore got loose for a career-high 41 points. 24 coming in the first half as the Plainsmen held off Yelm in 3A district game.

Madisyn Erickson, Yelm girls wrestling: Defending state champion won regional title at 120 pounds, and heads into Mat Classic with a 42-0 season record.

Avery and Carter Hansen, Auburn basketball: Sister-brother point-guard duo led respective squads to 3A district semifinals - and spot in regional round. Both scored 22 points and triggered teams' pull-away spurts against Lincoln of Tacoma.

Leyton Martin, Arlington boys basketball: Junior totaled 21 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists, and cracked the career 1,000-point scoring mark in a 3A district win over Marysville Getchell.

Brynn McGaughy, Colfax girls basketball: Junior guard poured in a game-high 35 points as defending 2B state champions held off upstart Davenport to win district title in Spokane. Scored 17 points in district semifinal win over Lind-Ritzville/Sprague.

Kiley McMahon, Black Hills girls basketball: Junior led Wolves' charge in 2A district tournament, tallying game-high 26 points, including six 3-pointers, in semifinal victory over Hudson's Bay.

Cody Miller, Sumner boys wrestling: Senior easily won 4A regional 157-pound title Saturday, and two-time WIAA champion will head into the upcoming Mat Classic with a 139-0 career record.

Rowyn Riley, Union girls basketball: With Olympia's defense geared to stop other guards, senior went off for a game-high 26 points, including six 3-pointers, in a 4A district win over the Bears.

Braeden Salme, Adna boys basketball: After injury-derailed first half of season, coach's son finding stride at right time. He scored a season-high 37 points, making seven 3-pointers and added nine assists in 2B district-round victory over Ilwaco.

Corey Tita, Kentwood boys basketball: Triggered team's fourth-quarter comeback with a game-high 27 points - 14 coming in the final quarter as the Conquerors upended SPSL champion Sumner in 4A districts.
