Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Sunday at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced Monday, Jan. 22nd. WASHINGTON NOMINEES

Landen Birley, West Valley of Yakima boys basketball: Junior took down school's 20-year-old single-game scoring mark (41) by pouring in 44 points, including eight 3-pointers, in 4A CBBN win over Eastmont.

Ty Bloomfield, Everett boys basketball: Senior guard sank program-record nine 3-pointers on way to career-high 35 points (12-of-21 shooting overall) in 3A Wesco win over Stanwood.

Pepper Boesel, Brewster girls basketball: Bears snapped Okanogan's 17-game league winning streak - and this ninth grader was big reason why, scoring 24 points, including four 3-pointers.

Ariyana Deloney, Foster girls basketball: Reigning 2A KingCo MVP posted her first career triple double - 32 points, 13 rebounds, 10 steals - in a league victory over Highline. Also had 23 points, 11 rebounds against Renton.

Giselle Dogan, Jackson girls basketball: Against perennial playoff 4A Wesco contender Glacier Peak, the senior went off for a season-high 34 points, including seven 3-pointers, in a victory.

Shelton Henton, Interlake boys basketball: Get used to this big guard putting up numbers. He broke Donald Watts' single-game scoring mark by scoring 45 points (with 11 rebounds) in win over Kent-Meridian. Also had 32 points and 13 rebounds in win over 3A KingCo-leading Liberty.

Hayden Kaut, Napavine girls basketball: In a matchup of top-five state squads in Class 2B, the sophomore was up to the task. She scored a game-high 26 points (10-for-21 shooting), including three 3-pointers, in win over Rainier. Also had 21 points in loss to Adna later in week.

Karson Maze, Mead boys basketball: Panthers might have something in this ninth grade point guard. In team's biggest win of season over North Central, Maze had career-best 23 points, four rebounds, two assists and  pair of steals.

Soraya Ogaldez, North Thurston girls basketball: In a matchup of undefeated 3A SSC rivals, the junior racked up a game-high 30 points - her sixth 30-point effort of the season - including a season-high six 3-pointers in a win over Timberline.

Noah Schow, Tenino boys basketball: Pure scorer was back at it again against reigning 1A Evergreen champion Eatonville - career-high 44 points, including nine 3-pointers, in victory.
