SBLive’s Top 10 plays of Week 12

10. Holding on to just a 7-0 lead against Mount Tahoma, top-seeded Yelm had its defense come up at the end of the first half. With the Thunderbirds inside the Tornados' 5, Landen Barger stuffed a run on fourth down to preserve the lead.

9. Clinging to a 24-20 lead in the final minute of the game, the Lakeside of Nine Mile Falls' defense put the game away, recording a pair of sacks on Freeman's final possession of the game.

8. Fans of defense were in luck last weekend if they ventured out to Seattle to watch Eastside Catholic and Kennewick. The Crusaders' defense recorded five interceptions in the second half, including Ambrose Marsh's game-sealer.

7. Only worth two points at the time, but Kamiakin defensive luneman Baker Mundy's safety against Mount Si early in the game also proved to be the difference as the Braves moved on to the Class 4A semifinals.

6. Seems when Royal's season still alive and well this late, somebody with the last name Allred is a key playmaker. Lance Allred was that and more last week, recording a pick-6 from the linebacker position while pulling double duty as team's quarterback.

5. With Lynden being a thorn in the side of North Kitsap the past two seasons, the Vikings finally got their revenge against the two-time defending state champions. Alex Hitchings picked off a pass in overtime in the end zone to lock up the victory.

4. Held in check for most of the game, the Arlington offense still got its moment to flash against Bellevue. Late in the game, quarterback Leyton Martin connected with Kaid Hunter for a 72-yard touchdown.

3. Onalaska's Kayden Mozingo heard his name called plenty last week against Kalama, but his 71-yard run in the first half might have been the best of his five touchdowns against the Chinooks.

2. In what proved to be the game-winner for Graham-Kapowsin against Gonzaga Prep, wide receiver Jabez Woods caught the screen and outran every Bullpups' defender for the 72-yard touchdown.

1. When everything seems to be clicking the way it is for Anacortes right now, you have the luxury of taking a risk or two. The Seahawks did that handing the ball to wide receiver Rylin Lang, who pulled up and heaved the ball downfield to Cooper Barton for a touchdown.
