Which play from Week 6 of the 2023 Washington high school football season was the best? Some flashy offensive touchdowns stood out, but great defense was also on full display.

10. Trying to fend off a ferocious comeback attempt from Onalaska, Kalama's Aiden Brown put his team out in front with a short touchdown run with 20 seconds to go in wild 44-36 win.
9. Down by two scores for much of the game, Lynden Christian pulled off the comeback with Kayden Stuit taking the handoff and finding the end zone on a short run to upend Nooksack Valley on the road.
8. A lot of things went right for Sunnyside against Eisenhower and one of the Grizzlies' best playmakers in Noah McNair showed off intercepting a pass and taking it back 23 yards for an early-game touchdown.
7. Already having scored one touchdown on special teams with Kooper Clark's kickoff return for a score, David Malroy added to the fun, running back a punt for a Tumwater touchdown.
6. Bothell's Mingo Lemley has had no shortage of key plays for the Cougars this season and he added to that total against Issaquah with two bust-a-move, shed-tackler touchdowns.
5. In a showdown between the 4A SPSL's top two teams in Curtis and Graham-Kapowsin, it was inevitable that Rocco Koch would break out a big play - and did just that on 62-yard touchdown run in the first half.

2. The reward was worth the risk for Kennewick late in its MCC game against Richland with a perfect execution of the hook and lateral (also known as "hook and ladder") as Kyler Witkowski caught the lateral from David Wacenske in stride and sprinted 63 yards for the game-winning touchdown.
1. After four years as the team's equipment manager, Tahoma senior Wyatt Bureau – who was born with Down syndrome – suited up for the Bears, scored his first touchdown in the game in a scripted manner and showed off his best dance moves surrounded by players from both teams.
