Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Sunday at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced Monday, Oct. 16th. WASHINGTON NOMINEES

Jackson Almond, Cascade Christian football: In his first under-center start after moving from wide receiver, the talented senior passed for 214 yards and five touchdowns, and also had a 48-yard interception return for a score in a 1A Nisqually victory over Bellevue Christian.

Josie Brandenburg, Kalama girls soccer: Chinooks' top playmaker in the midfield tallied a career-high five goals (and an assist) in a 2B Pacific win over Winlock, and had a hat trick in a win over South Bend.

Remi Buckley, Columbia River girls soccer: The reigning Class 2A champions keep reloading with young firepower, and this ninth grader is showing he is a goal-scoring force. She produced her first hat trick in a 2A GSHL win over Mark Morris.

Payton Davis, Oakesdale volleyball: HThe two-time defending Class 1B champions' top player tied a career high with 32 kills in a four-set 1B Southeast victory over Wilbur-Creston-Keller.

Lance Gogel, Chelan football: The yards-churning rushing machine posted his second 300-yard game this season with a lifetime-best 342 yards on 41 carries, including four touchdowns in a non-league win over Colfax.

Rex Larson, Anacortes football: Trigger man for the new No. 1 team in Class 2A was near-perfect - 23-of-27, 301 yards and three touchdowns - in a 2A Northwest Conference victory over Sehome.

Hayden Line, Clarkston football: Bantams' wide receiver did a little bit of everything in a win over Rogers of Spokane. He caught a 46-yard touchdown, had a 40-yard interception return for a score and threw a 46-yard touchdown pass.

Kendall Mairs, Camas girls volleyball: In a GSHL crossover showdown with fellow-unbeaten Prairie (3A), the junior outside hitter registered a match-high 24 kills, and the Papermakers won in five sets.

JT Marsh, Cedarcrest football: A back-to-back nominee, the talented wideout caught six passes for 210 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw a 92-yard scoring pass in the team's win over Meadowdale.

Josh Menold, Skyline football: Spartans' most consistent offensive producer had 33 carries for 193 yards and three touchdowns, and also had a receiving score in the team's 4A KingCo win over North Creek.

Kayden Mozingo, Onalaska football: In a wild 2B Pacific game against Kalama, the Loggers' junior signal caller rushed for a career-high 333 yards on 23 carries, including three long touchdowns (41, 58, 43) in a road loss.

Joey Olson, Ellensburg football: Filling in for injured Colton Magruder, Olson had 166 rushing yards and three total touchdowns (two rushing one receiving), including the winning last-minute receiving score as the Bulldogs beat Wenatchee. He also had an end-zone interception on defense.

Daveon Superales, Graham-Kapowsin football: In a matchup of top-five programs in Class 4A, the Eagles' quarterback was the star - 20-of-26, 210 yards and three touchdowns, plus 92 rushing yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' win at Curtis.

Blake Teets, Bellevue football: In Wolverines' most complete game of the season, the running back totaled a team-high 137 of the team's 525 rushing yards, including a touchdown in defeating previously-undefeated Juanita.

Joshua Woodard, Richland football: Bombers' gun-slinger passed for 416 yards and three touchdowns as they came within seconds of upending top 3A MCC contender Kennewick.
