TACOMA - In the end, top-ranked Graham-Kapowsin did what it does best - run the football.
The Eagles piled up a Class 4A championship game-record 524 rushing yards in steamrolling No. 2 Lake Stevens, 44-7, to win their first state title in school history.
The previous mark was 521, set by Gonzaga Prep in 2015.
