Maury (14-0)

The Commodores lost to Highland Springs in last year's state championship, but they don't have to worry about that this year as the Springers are now in Class 6.

With a 14-game winning streak and their strongest competition no longer in the picture, Maury has to be the favorite heading into Saturday's state championship game.

Stone Bridge (9-4)

After losing four of their first five games, things were not looking good for the Bulldogs this year, but they have since won eight straight games to earn their spot in this season's state title matchup.

If they can keep their momentum rolling and pull off the upset Saturday they will win their fourth state title in the program's 24th overall season.
