The Texas high school boys basketball playoffs continue this week, as teams continue their pushes for a state title.

Stony Point, the No. 3 team in Texas and No. 21 team in the SBLive/Sports Illustrated Power 25 national rankings, takes on Westlake in the UIL 6A regional quarterfinals Tuesday night. 

The Tigers (34-1) enter the night on a 14-game win streak, which began after their loss to nationally-ranked and undefeated Plano East (Texas), while Westlake (28-7) has won 11 games in a row. 

Stony Point and Westlake met in the season opener for both squads, with Stony Point grabbing a 45-43 victory. The winner of this rematch will advance to the regional semifinals of the UIL 6A state playoffs this weekend, where they will take on the winner of Brennan vs. Jay. 

Stony Point vs. Westlake is being streamed by the NFHS Network and is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 p.m. CT.

FOURTH QUARTER

-- Stony Point wins 49-35 and advances to the regional semifinals this weekend in San Antonio. After falling behind by four points, the Tigers (35-1) went on a 28-10 run to end the game. 

-- Stony Point is hitting its free throws. Josiah Moseley goes 2-for-2 to make it a 47-35 game.

-- Gavin Paull makes a fadeaway three from the corner for Westlake. It might take a miracle, but the Chaparrals trail by 43-35 with a little more than a minute remaining.

-- Westlake goes the free throw route as it looks to attempt a comeback. Jack Seiders goes 4-for-4 on two trips to the line to cut the lead back to nine points, but time is ticking.

-- Josiah Moseley dunks on a defender to keep the run going for Stony Point, which leads 41-28 with less than two minutes left. It's looking like the Tigers will advance to the next round.

-- Down by nine, Wonder Kahozie goes 0-for-2 at the free throw line for Westlake. The Chaparrals have now missed five free throws in the fourth quarter. Following the miss, Goodlet scores in transition to give Stony Point an 11-point lead, 39-28, with 2:23 to go.

-- Junior Goodlet is stepping up in a big way in the fourth quarter. The senior guard makes a spinning layup after being fouled to put Stony Point ahead 37-28 with less than three minutes remaining.

-- Buntyn hits Goodlet on a cut for another bucket to give Stony Point a seven point lead, 35-28, with under four minutes to go.

-- Junior Goodlet drives to the basket and gets the layup to go, pushing Stony Point's lead back to six points. 

-- Jack Seiders goes 1-for-2 at the free throw line for Westlake. The Chaparrals have left a couple points at the line in the past minute, but they have slowed down Stony Point offensively to cut its lead to four points.

-- Westlake's Wonder Kahozie goes 1-for-2 at the free throw line to stop the 10-0 run by Stony Point. The Chaparrals trail 31-26 early in the fourth quarter.

-- Uzziah Buntyn keeps the run alive for Stony Point with a tough finish in the paint. Stony Point has its largest lead of the night at 31-25.

THIRD QUARTER

-- Strong defense leads to easy offense for Stony Point. It's eight straight points for the Tigers, who lead 29-25 after three quarters. That was a major shift in momentum in a little amount of time to end the quarter.

-- Davaughn Hueitt cleans up a miss in the paint to make it a quick 4-0 run for Stony Point. It's back to a tie game, 25-25.

-- What a dunk by Wonder Kahozie. The senior posterizes a defender to put Westlake ahead by four, 25-21. 

-- Josiah Moseley rejects another shot for his third block of the night. Westlake leads 23-21 nearly halfway through the third quarter.

-- After turnovers by both teams to start the second half, Uzziah Buntyn sinks a three for Stony Point to tie the game, 21-21.

SECOND QUARTER

-- With time winding down, Gavin Paull finds Andrew Cannatti on the wing for a three pointer to give Westlake a 21-18 lead at halftime. 

-- Westlake senior Wonder Kahozie gets the basket to go despite the contact in the paint. The center misses the free throw, so the Chaparrals lead 18-16 late in the first half.

-- Josiah Moseley blocks a shot and it leads to an Elijah Clemons layup on the other end to tie the game, 16-16.

-- Max Purushothaman has the hot hand for Westlake. He scores a quick five points (midrange jumper and three-pointer) to start the quarter and give the Chaparrals a 13-10 lead.

FIRST QUARTER

-- Stony Point wins a low-scoring first quarter, 10-8. The game has moved at a fast pace so far, but we'll see if it slows down in the second quarter as these teams settle in for the neutral-site playoff game.

-- Moseley throws down an alley-oop to tie game 8-8. The big man has all scored every point for the Tigers so far.

--  Josiah Moseley is already going to work inside. The Villanova-bound forward has three buckets in the opening minutes for Stony Point.

-- Max Purushothaman gets the scoring started and gives Westlake the first lead of the night, 2-0.
