How to watch: 2024 Texas UIL state high school wrestling meet
The top wrestlers in the Lone Star State are competing for Texas high school state championships on Saturday at the Berry Center in Cypress, Texas.
The UIL State Wrestling Meet takes place all day with 10 mats hosting Class 5A and 6A boys and girls matches simultaneously during the tournament. The semifinals took place in the morning and the finals in the afternoon in Class 5A and 6A.
The event is streamed live on the NFHS Network (subscription required). Each will have an individual video feed.
The first round took place Friday morning and the quarterfinal round was Friday afternoon starting at 1:15 p.m. central time. The championship matches start at 4:45 p.m.
Five Texas high school wrestlers made SBLive's national wrestling rankings, released Friday. Canyon Randall sophomore Mikey Ruiz is No. 23 at 113 pounds, The Woodlands' Caio Aron is No. 24 at 132 pounds, Spring junior Dorian Olivarez is No. 11 at 144 and Melissa's Angelo Ferrari is the nation's No. 1 wrestler at 175.
