PREGAME READING

-- Led by four double-digit scorers, senior-laden Lake Ridge (21-3, 5-0) has won four in a row and is one of three teams tied for first in 6A District 11. A win over Waxahachie (19-10, 10-2) Friday will keep the Eagles in district title contention.

-- Mansfield Lake Ridge is the No. 22 ranked team in Texas in the latest SBLive Power 25.

-- Duncanville, Waxahachie and Lake Ridge are in a three-way tie atop the 6A District 11 standings. At 19-10 overall, Waxahachie has a chance to make some noise. It won the first head-to-head matchup with Lake Ridge, and both teams have split with Duncanville, so a Waxahachie win Friday night would put it in strong position for a district title.
