Dre'lon Miller, elite Texas high school receiver, commits to Colorado football, Deion Sanders: Report

Nation's No. 11 receiver in 2024 decommitted from Texas A&M in June; reportedly also considered Aggies, LSU, USC.

Elite Texas high school football wide receiver Drelon Miller has committed to Colorado and coach Deion Sanders, multiple outlets reported on Sunday.

The electric 6-foot, 190-pound 2024 Silsbee High School pass-catcher had committed to Texas A&M in June, but rescinded his commitment in October after a visit to LSU.

Miller ultimately chose the Buffaloes over LSU, Texas A&M and USC, telling 247 Sports' Steve Wiltfong the prospect of playing for Coach Prime factored in significantly to his decision.

He still maintained consideration for the Aggies as a finalist, but caught heat from fellow A&M recruits after his decommitment.

Miller hauled in 52 passes for 1,010 yards and 11 receiving touchdowns on the season, averaging more than 19 yards per catch. Silsbee reached the regional semifinal round of the Class 4A Division II playoffs before losing to state finalist Bellville on Nov. 24.

Miller is a consensus 4-star prospect and the No. 11 receiver in the country and No. 9 recruit in Texas, per Rivals.
