The Texas high school football regular season has come to an end and the playoffs begin this week.
SBLive gathered the top high school football performers across the central Texas region over the weekend's slate of games. We gathered the best of the best — offense, defense and special teams — and now it’s your turn to cast your vote for the winner.

TOP CENTRAL TEXAS FOOTBALL PLAYER OF WEEK 11
Brennan Carroll, senior
High School: San Antonio Roosevelt
The star 2024 running back needed just 84 yards to reach 2,000 rushing yards on the season and Carrol did just that and more; racked up 339 rushing yards and six touchdowns.
Walker DiHarce, senior
High School: San Antonio Johnson
The senior Jaguar linebacker is a tackling machine and swarms to the football on every play. Last week, DiHarce racked up 21 tackles, two tackles for loss, one interception, 1 pass break-up.
Brady Hopper, sophomore
High School: San Antonio Pieper
Hopper was instrumental Friday night helping the Warriors secure their first district championship. The sophomore running back rushed for 170 yards and found the back of the end zone four times.
Ty Ingram-Eiser, senior
High School: Austin Westlake
The Chapparals senior safety was a key piece to Westlake's defense pitching another shutout win intercepting two passes in the first quarter to really help give his offense a boost they needed to get going. Ingram-Eiser also had five tackles.
Lance Beeghley, senior
High School: New Braunfels
Beeghley has proven himself during his senior season that he can be the number one wide receiver for any offense. Last week, the senior Unicorn receiver hauled in 6 catches for 122 yards and 1 touchdown to help pace New Braunfels to a dramatic win, 37-35.
Jason Stokes, junior
High School: Pflugerville Weiss
In a win, the 2025 defensive back, Stokes pulled down two interceptions, had three pass breakups, and eight total tackles against a pass-heavy, high-octane offense in Hutto.
Jax Brown, senior
High School: Pflugerville Weiss
The 2025 Wolves quarterback helped Weiss finish the regular season with a quality win headed into the playoffs. Brown carved the Hippo defense up with 322 passing yards and five touchdowns while completing 77 percent of his passes.
Lorenn 'Bubba' Johnson, junior
High School: San Antonio Johnson
The junior Jaguar running back continues to impress as he is one of the catalysts of the Johnson offensive scheme. Johnson burst for 211 rushing yards and three touchdowns, while averaging 9 yards per carry.
Daeshon Morgan, junior
High School: Austin Vandegrift
The junior Viper helped pace the defense to yet another shutout win with five tackles including two sacks.
Brendan Fournier, junior
High School: Austin Vandegrift
The junior Viper running back helped pace the Vandegrift offense in their regular season finale victory with 152 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Ed Small, junior
High School: Austin Anderson
The 2025 Trojan wide receiver had a great final game of the season hauling in 14 catches for 217 yards and two touchdowns.
Cody Stoever, junior
High School: Wimberley
Stoever, the Texans' dual threat quarterback, finished the regular season on a high note heading into the playoffs. The junior signal caller completed 12-13 passes for 213 yards and five touchdowns while hitting 11 different Texan receivers.
Brad Jackson, senior
High School: Reagan
Jackson helped the Rattlers finish off an undefeated regular season record and a district 28-6A championship. The three-star Texas St commit racked up 239 passing yards and three touchdowns.
Colin Ernst, senior
High School: Alamo Heights
The Mule dual-threat quarterback had another stellar game under center as Alamos Heights cruised to another undefeated regular season. Last week, Ernst had 297 total yards through the air and running along with five touchdowns.
Abdon Mata, senior
High School: Cibolo-Steele
Mata has been an menace in the last few weeks for the Knight defense. The 2024 defensive end tallied 12 tackles, two sacks, and had three QB hurries.
Jalen Cooper, junior
High School: Cibolo-Steele
Cooper has solidified himself as one of the best deep threat targets in the Lone Star State all year and that was no different last week. The 2025 Knight wide receiver hauled in six balls for 187 yards, and two touchdowns.
