Texas high school football Week 10 is officially in the books.

Each week throughout the season, SBLive is taking a look at the top high school football performers across the Lone Star State. We gathered the best of the best, separated offense from defense, and now it’s your turn to cast your vote on a winner.

Here are SBLive’s Texas Offensive Football Player of the Week nominees for October 26-28. Scroll down to read about this week’s list and cast your vote in the poll below. Voting remains open until Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. Central time.

TEXAS OFFENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL NOMINEES

Taji Atkins, sr., Westfield

Atkins scored seven total touchdowns — five rushing, two receiving — in a 78-21 win over Davis.

Kaleb Bailey, jr., North Shore

Bailey completed 16 of 21 passes for 251 yards and four touchdowns in a 61-35 victory over Atascocita. He also ran for 95 yards and a TD. Atascocita quarterback Zion Brown also had a strong game, connecting on 20 of 34 passes for 361 yards and three touchdowns while running for 82 yards and a score.

Jalen Cooper, jr., Steele

Cooper caught seven passes for 145 yards and three touchdowns as Steele routed Judson, 52-14.

TJ Dement, sr., Boerne

Dement had 21 carries for 216 yards and a touchdown in a 31-7 win over Somerset.

Cameron Dickey, sr., Crockett

Dickey, a Texas Tech commit, ran for 206 yards on 16 carries and found the end zone three times as Crockett shut out Northeast Early College, 45-0. He also threw for 185 yards and three TDs.

Ife Durodoye, sr., Northwest

Durodoye had 24 carries for 263 yards and four touchdowns in a 38-20 win over Burleson Centennial.

Edward Griffin, jr., Coppell

Griffin completed 21 of 25 throws for 305 yards and six touchdowns as Coppell blew past Flower Mound, 51-21.

Will Hammond, sr., Hutto

Hammond, a four-star Texas Tech commit, accounted for eight total touchdowns in a 66-63 shutout win over Bryan. The senior passed for 487 yards and four TDs while running for 191 and four more scores. His favorite target, senior wideout Alex Green, had 10 catches for 365 yards and four TDs.

Hudson Hutcheson, sr., Frenship

Hutcheson threw for 361 yards and four touchdowns while running for 69 more yards and two scores as Frenship survived a shootout with Odessa, 77-49. His counterpart, Mikey Cota, passed for 344 yards and seven touchdowns.

Tucker James, jr., Byron Nelson

James carried it 28 times for 177 yards and a touchdown as Byron Nelson stunned Southlake Carroll, 34-17, two claim the District 4-6A title. It was the first victory over the Dragons in program history.

Brennan Myer, sr., Wakeland

Myer completed 24 of 29 passes for 364 yards and four touchdowns in a 56-24 win over Sherman. The senior also ran for a TD.

Michael Palomino, jr., Harlandale

Palomino had eight receptions for 214 yards and three touchdowns in a 47-34 victory over Jefferson.

Daylon Singleton, jr., DeSoto

Singleton, a four-star SMU commit, had six catches for 179 yards and three touchdowns as DeSoto downed Duncanville, 49-35, in a matchup of two national powers.

Demani Stewart, sr., Westwood

Stewart had 29 carries for 217 yards and two touchdowns as Westwood got past Manor, 28-21.
