Devin Sanchez, nation's top cornerback, has massive pick-six in Texas high school football showdown: Look

North Shore (Texas) 5-star took interception 38 yards for touchdown in nationally ranked Houston showdown

Devin Sanchez delivered a game-changing moment on his biggest stage of the Texas high school football season to date.

The 5-star and nation's No. 1 cornerback in the class of 2025, took an interception 37 yards back for touchdown to help nationally ranked North Shore early against district foe Atascocita.

The Mustangs went on to win 61-35 at Galena Park ISD Stadium, clinching at least a share of the District 21-6A title.

Watch the play for yourself:

The 6-foot-2, 170-pound Sanchez, who is uncommitted, is the No. 1 prospect in Texas, nation's No. 1 corner and No. 5 overall prospect in 2025, according to Rivals. Sanchez trimmed his list to 10 in August: Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Texas A&M and USC.

On3's Recruiting Prediction Machine heavily favors Sanchez-to-Ohio State, while Rivals' FutureCast has him predicted to go to Texas.
