Hello, Jalen Hale.

The Alabama Crimson Tide's true freshman from Longview (Texas) introduced himself to college football fans in a big way on Saturday.

With No. 13 Alabama up 9-7 on No. 15 Ole Miss in the third quarter, Hale reeled in a deep pass from Jalen Milroe for a 33-yard touchdown.

The freshman's first collegiate touchdown was timely, as it put Alabama up by two scores in the nationally-televised Southeastern Conference matchup.

A five-star recruit in the class of 2023, Hale was the nation's No. 6 wide receiver and No. 38 overall player, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

He committed to Alabama last September and signed with the Crimson Tide over offers from Texas, Texas A&M and more.

As a senior at Longview last year, Hale was named an SBLive All-North Texas first teamer. The five-star wideout made 45 catches for 936 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns.

Hale's touchdown against Ole Miss could be his first of many scores in an Alabama uniform.
