North Shore blows out Spring Westfield in Texas high school football showdown
SPRING, TEXAS - Kaleb Bailey and nationally ranked North Shore (Texas) thumped Spring Westfield 45-9 at Planet Ford Stadium on Friday night in Spring, Texas.
Spring Westfield, the No. 15 team in Texas, drops its second game in as many weeks after losing 14-9 to Fort Bend Hightower in Week 2.
North Shore scored the game's first three touchdowns and built a 31-9 lead by halftime.
Quarterback Kaleb Bailey muscled in for a 5-yard touchdown run to push the lead to 38-9 late in the third quarter.
The matchup pits two of the top teams in Texas against one another. North Shore is No. 3 in the SBLive Texas Power 25 and the No. 12 team in the SBLive/Sports Illustrated Power 25 national rankings.
North Shore finished Texas 6A-Division I state runners-up in 2022.
