As the high school boys basketball postseason reaches its final weekend, SBLive set out to find the top point guards North Texas in the 2022-23 season.
SBLive's Ian Napetian narrowed the list down to15 standouts and now it's your turn to pick the best among a talented bunch.

Top 15 point guards in North Texas boys basketball
Finley Bizjack, 6-4, sr., Byron Nelson
A four-star prospect, Bizjack has been tremendous on the court this season. Attending Byron Nelson, Bizjack is one of the top scorers in north Texas, averaging 25 points per game in his junior year. Bizjack will take his talents to Indianapolis, IN when he joins the Butler Bulldogs in the Big East Conference.
Jhaden Brown, 5-9, sr., Mansfield Legacy
Brown may not be the most prolific scorer in Texas, but his ability to find teammates makes him a specialty for Mansfield Legacy. The senior averages 10 points per game and dishes 6.1 assists per game. Brown’s quickness allows him to get up and down the court efficiently, making him a major threat on fast breaks.
T’Johnn Brown, 5-11, sr, Kimball
A three-star recruit from Kimball, Brown is a premier point guard in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Brown has averaged 18.1 points and 5.3 assists per game. A historic achievement, Brown recently surpassed two thousand career points for Kimball as he continues to make a name for himself.
Bryson Chambers, 6-4, sr., Harvest Christian Academy
One of the brightest talents in the area, Chambers continues his tear with the Saints. After a phenomenal senior season with the Saints, Chambers was named to the 1st Team All-District, District MVP, and 1st Team All-State. His 26.3 points per game make him a problem for opponents, and when paired with his 8.1 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game, Chambers is unstoppable.
David Coe, 6-1, fr., Grapevine
Possibly the youngest and brightest talent in Grapevine, Coe is a star in the making. The Freshman played in 22 games for the Mustangs and averaged 17.3 points per game while dishing out 4.4 assists. Although not the largest, he uses all of his 6-1 frame to get 6.5 rebounds per game. Coe is a top prospect in the area and has a tremendous future ahead.
Khadim Diongue, 6-5, jr., White
Despite averaging only 9.5 points per game, Diongue is the workhorse of the White Longhorns and its offense. Diongue is a good ball handler and is second in the team in assists with 2.6 per game. An efficient shooter, Diongue is not the only source for scoring, as the Longhorns have the sharpshooter Ben Price.
Parker Hannah, 6-2, sr., Keller
Hannah is at the helm for Keller Indians as his sharp, accurate passing leads the team in assists per game with 4.8 While Hannah is not the most prolific scorer, he averages 14.7 points per game. As Brooks Bahr leads the team in scoring, Hannah controls the flow of the offense that placed the Indians first in their district.
Dallas Hobbs, 5-11, sr., Dynamic Prep
Hobbs has found success at Dynamic Prep. In 20 games this season, Hobbs averages 11.1 points per game along with 2.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists. Hobbs has committed to and will play at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD next season.
Nolyn Lee, 5-9, jr., Reedy
A junior at Reedy, Lee is a terrific point guard for the Lions. He is a consistent scorer, putting up 11.1 points per game. Lee is also a great passer and finds a way to get the ball to his teammates in scoring positions. Averaging 6.5 assists per game, Lee is a key in all facets of the Lions' offense.
Aric Demings, 6-1, sr., Duncanville
Demings has delivered in big moments for a national power. He hit a game-winner to beat Montverde Academy on ESPN and carved out a solid role for himself as a junior on the national top-5 Duncanville team next to McDonald's All-American point guard Anthony Black. When Black left for Arkansas, Demings took over, helping run the show for the Panthers, who at one point this season was the top team in the country, next to five-star Ron Holland and Arizona-bound KJ Lewis. The three-star prospect is uncommitted and widely regarded as underrated, under-recruited prospect.
Julian Perez, 6-0, jr., Brewer
Over his three seasons at Brewer High School in Fort Worth, Perez has continued to see his workload increase. This last season, and most successful, saw Perez average 16.4 points per game, leading the Brewer Bears to an undefeated 12-0 record in district play. While Perez is a dangerous scorer, his ability to make plays and share the ball sees him average 4.6 assists per game.
KP Richard, 6-1, sr., South Oak Cliff
One of the top point guards in North Texas is set to take his talents out west to Cal State Fullerton after committing in 2022. Richard’s talents lifted him and the Golden Bears to an 11-5 record and finished 2nd overall in its district. Despite exiting the UIL Texas Boys State Basketball Championships with a loss to the Liberty Redhawks, KP Richard has had incredible success at South Oak Cliff and has a bright future.
Grayson Rigdon, 5-10, soph., Benjamin
Perhaps one of the most exciting, young talents in the nation, sophomore Rigdon has taken the high school basketball landscape by force. Through 19 games, Rigdon has averaged an astonishing 41.1 points per game as well as 12.2 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game for Benjamin High School. The Mustangs were victorious 95-52 in Saturday’s game against No. 7 Garden City, with Rigdon's 44 points fueling their first state tournament appearance.
Caden Sandlin, 6-1, jr., Garland Christian Academy
A junior at Garland Christian Academy, Sandlin has excelled at the point guard position in his two seasons on varsity. With a heavier offensive responsibility this season, Sandlin averages 23.1 points per game. While posting good scoring figures, he averages 4.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 6.7 steals per game. Sandlin is a sound ball-handler who excels in moving up the court and sharing the ball.
Nehemiah Weber, 6-3, sr., Keller Central
A senior at Keller Central, Weber provides lots of offense for the Keller Chargers. Averaging 18.3 points and 4.7 rebounds per game, Weber has a nose for scoring and can even be effective without the ball. Weber is an incredibly talented point guard that is also an intelligent and disciplined defender.
