DENTON, Texas — After struggling with the ball during the early stages of the first quarter and falling behind on a short touchdown run, Denton Guyer shifted gears.

Trailing District 6-6A rival Denton Braswell 7-0, the Wildcats exploded offensively and put an early three-and-out and interception behind them.

Led by senior quarterback Jackson Arnold — an Oklahoma Sooners commit and Elite 11 finalist — and junior running back Trey Joyner, Guyer exploded offensively.

Joyner and Arnold helped power the Wildcats to 62 unanswered points and 634 total yards of offense, as Guyer crushed Braswell in a 62-7 district victory Friday night at Carrico Stadium.
