We have 10 players nominated this week for SBLive’s South Carolina Boys Basketball Player of the Week from Feb. 12-17 and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected.

Voting will conclude on Sunday, Feb. 24 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Here are this week's nominees:

Braylhan Thomas, Gray Collegiate

Thomas posted 26 points in the War Eagles’ 79-43 rout of Abbeville in the second round of the 2-A state playoffs. The 6-foot-6 senior, who has committed to Georgia Southern, also had 14 points in Gray Collegiate’s 91-39 first-round win over Chesnee.

Ghaleb Wilson, Andrew Jackson

The 6-foot-2 senior guard was on fire with 37 points in the Volunteers’ 78-38 romp over Bishop England in the second round of the 2-A state playoffs. Wilson also had 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 5 steals, 4 blocks and 2 charges taken.

Connor Cannon, Fox Creek

Cannon led the way with 22 points in Fox Creek’s 49-44 overtime win over Landrum in the second round of the 2-A state playoffs. The 6-foot-4 senior leads the Predators with 17.4 points per game.

Jaleel McGee, Powdersville

McGee had 22 points, 4 assists and 4 steals as the Patriots beat Daniel 72-59 in the second round of the 3-A state playoffs. The junior guard also scored 11 points in Powdersville’s 73-40 win over Union County in the first round.

Kavon Chisholm, Hampton County

Chisholm scored 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting in Hampton County’s 75-70 win over Mullins in the second round of the 2-A state playoffs. The 6-foot-3 senior also pulled down 15 rebounds.

Alex Atkinson, Lower Richland

The Presbyterian signee scored 24 points as the Diamond Hornets beat Philip Simmons 60-52 in the second round of the 3-A state playoffs.

Cedric Schofield, Keenan

Schofield, a 6-foot-6 junior forward, scored 20 points in the Raiders’ 73-49 romp over Newberry in the second round of the 2-A state playoffs. He also had 12 points in an 81-41 win over Blacksburg in the first round.

Isaiah Scott-Palacios, Greenwood Christian

The freshman standout scored 25 points as the Hawks beat Pee Dee Academy 62-49 in the first round of the SCISA 3-A state playoffs.

Jamarius Williams, Marion

Williams scored 21 points in the Swamp Foxes’ 88-69 victory over Woodland in the second round of the 2-A state playoffs.
