We have 10 athletes nominated this week for SBLive’s Upper State South Carolina Offensive Football Player of the Week from Oct. 19-20 and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Here are this week's nominations:

Ja’kari Bennett, Daniel

Bennett ran 21 times for 205 yards and 3 touchdowns in the undefeated Lions’ 56-28 win over Pendleton. The senior tailback also caught 4 passes for 26 yards and a touchdown.

Dequirous Robertson, Westside

The senior tailback had a huge game in the Rams’ 63-35 win over Easley. Robertson ran 20 times for 161 yards and 4 touchdowns. In addition, had 3 receptions for 27 yards and a touchdown.

Reese Price, Wren

Price carried 35 times for 206 yards and 4 touchdowns as the Hurricanes whipped Woodmont 64-25.

Jaylen McGill, Broome

Broome ran for 228 yards and 4 touchdowns on just 12 carries in Broome’s 55-6 romp over Carolina.

Riley Staton, Gaffney

The Indians’ quarterback threw for 231 yards and a pair of touchdowns in a 29-14 victory over Dorman. He also ran 7 times for 48 yards and a touchdown.

Turbo Richard, Northwestern

Richard ran 16 times for 184 yards and 3 touchdowns as Northwestern rolled to a dominant 64-31 win over South Pointe.

Jon Hunt, Dutch Fork

The Silver Foxes’ quarterback threw for 313 yards and 3 touchdowns in Dutch Fork’s 56-3 rout of River Bluff.

Kaden Barnette, Nation Ford

Barnette threw five touchdown passes in the first half as Nation Ford blew past Spring Valley 49-0.

Duncan Skehan, Cardinal Newman

Skehan was 16-of-24 for 320 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Cardinals’ 49-42 loss to Porter-Gaud. He also had 40 yards rushing.

Dylan Jones, Wilson Hall

Jones, a 5-foot-8, 160-pound senior, had six touchdowns in Wilson Hall’s 47-28 win over Heathwood Hall.
