Here are the candidates for SBLive’s South Carolina High School Football Coach of the Week (Oct. 12-13) as nominated by our SBLive staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Saturday at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week's poll.

Here are this week's nominations:
Reggie Shaw, James F. Byrnes
Sometimes you’ve got to make an in-game adjustment. Shaw put in his backup quarterback with the game tied midway through the fourth quarter to give his team a spark. It worked. The backup ran for the go-ahead touchdown and Byrnes won.
Wayne Farmer, Calhoun County
Blackville-Hilda hadn’t lost a game all season. Not anymore. Farmer’s squad was obviously ready because the Saints walloped Blackville-Hilda 34-7. Calhoun County is now 7-1.
Shaun Wright, Cross
The Trojans opened the season with a loss to Calhoun County. They haven't lost since then. Cross walloped Military Magnet to improve to 7-1.
Tony McGeary, Thomas Heyward Academy
The Trojans beat Beaufort Academy and former coach Nic Shuford 41-28. Thomas Hayward is now 5-3 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
Jason Winstead, Goose Creek
Goose Creek lost five of six games in a brutal non-region schedule. But the Gators are 2-0 in region play, including Friday’s 29-25 win over Cane Bay.
Patrick Martin, Green Sea-Floyds
The Trojans are starting to make strides under their first-year coach. They beat Mullins 37-22 in region play and are now 2-6. Green Sea-Floyds won just one game last season.
Richard Bonneville, May River
May River downed Colleton County 42-28 to snap a four-game losing streak and keep the Sharks’ playoff hopes alive.
Ron Peduzzi, Hilton Head Christian
The Eagles have won five in a row after an 0-2 start. On Friday they whipped SCISA 3-A defending state champion Pee Dee Academy 38-0.
Tyler Boyd, Williamsburg Academy
Boyd is a first-year coach who inherited a state championship team. Nothing has changed. The Stallions beat Orangeburg Prep and former coach Don Shelley for their 19th consecutive win. Williamsburg is now 7-0.
Stephen Burris, Lamar
The Silver Foxes have won five in a row after a 1-3 start. They beat Hannah-Pamplico 48-20 on Friday.
Jason Tone, T.L. Hanna
The Yellow Jackets won a region showdown 36-33 over previously unbeaten Hillcrest by utilizing a powerful running game. T.L. Hanna is now 8-1.
