Here are the candidates for SBLive’s South Carolina High School Football Coach of the Week (Oct. 5-6) as nominated by our SBLive staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Saturday at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week's poll.

Here are this week's nominations:
Nick Pelham, White Knoll
It’s not every day that Dutch Fork gets taken down in a region game. The undefeated Timberwolves performed that feat, downing the 5-A defending state champion Silver Foxes 17-14. It was Dutch Fork’s first region loss since 2015.
Mickey Wilson, Myrtle Beach
The Seahawks got steamrolled 43-0 by Camden in their first game. They haven’t lost since then. Their big 24-21 region win over Hartsville lifted the Seahawks to 6-1. That surpasses last season’s win total of five and it appears Myrtle Beach is back among the title contenders.
Brian Rimpf, Camden
The Bulldogs beat Darlington 41-6 for their third win in a row. It was also the program's school-record 20th consecutive region win.
Wayne Farmer, Calhoun County
The Saints turned back Denmark-Olar 28-14 to improve to 6-1 on the season. Denmark-Olar had scored 64 points the previous week.
Jeff Tate, Ashley Ridge
Ashley Ridge beat West Ashley 31-20 in a key region game. The Wildcats improved to 6-1 overall and 1-1 in the region.
Jason Tone, T.L. Hanna
The Yellow Jackets ran past J.L. Mann 56-35 in a battle of Upstate powers. T.L. Hanna is now 7-1 overall and 2-0 in region play.
Page Wofford, Northwestern
Northwestern has won six in a row after opening the season with a 42-35 loss to Providence Day. The Vikings rolled past Indian Land 45-14 on Friday.
Adam Kinloch, Colleton County
The Cougars beat Hilton Head Island 26-21 to pick up their first region win since the 2020 season.
Eddie Ford, Woodland
Woodland is rolling again in 2023. The Wolverines whipped Ridgeland-Hardeeville 41-12 to move to 6-0 on the season.
Jon Wheeler, Hammond
The Skyhawks faced a challenge in a revitalized Cardinal Newman squad. But Hammond is still the measuring stick in SCISA football. The six-time defending state champions turned back the previously undefeated Cardinals 35-20 behind a powerful running attack.
