Adams is the No. 1 ranked football prospect in South Carolina

Amare Adams, the 6-6, 280-pound defensive tackle from Lake City High School and the No. 1 prospect in South Carolina, sat down with SBLive correspondent Peter London last weekend during an AAU basketball tournament in Florence.

Adams, who will graduate in 2025, has already received offers from Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia Tech.

Adams is also an accomplished basketball and baseball player.
