Bethel (Washington) four-star linebacker Zaydrius Rainey-Sale is the top prospect in the Northwest in the class of 2025.

And the 6-foot-2, 220-pound defender has the offer sheet to back up that claim, accumulating 20 scholarships during his recruitment.

But that process will come to an end July 1, as Rainey-Sale intends to announce his college commitment from a trio of finalists - Florida State, UCLA and Washington.

This week, the Washington product joined SBLive Sports to discuss what stands out about each of his three finalists.

Florida State: "The love and bond from te playesr to the coaches shows the true reason why they are so successful, and I want to be a part of that."

UCLA: "I want to be a part of the rebuilding of the next generation of football with coach (DeShaun) Foster. I truly believe in his vision for the program."

Washington: "I want to be surrounded by the NFL with the coaches and the mentors that are all throughout the building. I want to be able to be developed for the next level and truly develop to be the best."

Rainey-Sale previously committed to the Huskies in January under the tuteledge of Kalen DeBoer.

But the in-state star quickly reopned his recruitment in the transition from DeBoer to Jedd Fisch.

Since then, Rainey-Sale took a May official visit to UCLA and is fresh off a trip to Florida State.

Washington will get its shot to impress this weekend during an official visit.

For Rainey-Sale, there has always seemed to be an added intrigue to staying close to home.

Did Florida State change that with its official visit, or is Washington still the team to beat?

Neither fanbase will have to wait much longer for an answer.

Rainey-Sale is rated the nation's No. 111 overall prospect by 247Sports, and is considered one of the top linebackers on the West Coast.

Here's what they had to say about him as a prospect:

"Versatile athlete with plenty of positional flexibility. Explosive player who shows the ability to play inside or outside and has some natural pass rush ability. Can really accelerate and close on the football. Has the speed to run down plays from behind and outside his area. As a pass rusher, can get the edge and he can cover a lot of ground in his last 3-4 steps. Dynamic hitter who can run right through a ball carrier. Knocks guys backwards, once he hits you, play is over with little yards after contact. Getting more comfortable dropping and playing in space and was a top performer at the Under Armour Next Camp in Seattle in April where he showed improved cover skills. Has an athletic 6-2.5, 220 pound frame with a lot of length and room to continue to grow and add good weight. Might project best as an inside ‘backer in college and a situational pass rusher as well. Projects as a high Power 4 prospect who should be able to step in and compete for playing time early in his college career."
