AC Patterson, FCS recruiter of the year, discusses Portland State's celebrated recruiting class

Portland State offensive coordinator AC Patterson was the top-rated recruiter in the FCS, according to 247Sports

The Portland State Vikings signed a stellar recruiting class this cycle, rated the No. 1 group in the Big Sky and the No. 3 class in the country at the FCS level.

A big part of that was offensive coordinator AC Patterson, who was the top-rated recruiter at the FCS level, according to 247Sports. 

On this week's "Recruiting with Andrew Nemec" on ESPN-affiliate 1080 The FAN, Patterson joined me to discuss Portland State's class, its in-state haul and signing the gem of the class, Oregon Gatorade Player of the Year Cru Newman, out of Central Catholic (Oregon). 

The Vikings' class is highlighted by four 300-pound linemen, highlighting the program's desire to add size up front, and
