Prediction: Oregon Ducks set to add All-American defender Thursday

The Oregon Ducks and Dan Lanning aren't done

The Oregon Ducks and Dan Lanning aren't done yet.

After a stellar Signing Day in which Oregon finished with the nation's No. 5 recruiting class, no one would blame the coaching staff if they took some time to relax.

But that's not going to happen.

After flipping Ohio State four-star wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan and USC four-star pass-catcher Ryan Pellum on Wednesday, Oregon has at least one more addition to make.

Prediction: Jericho Johnson to Oregon Ducks

On Thursday evening, Armijo (California) four-star defensive tackle and All-American Bowl selection Jericho Johnson is set to announce his college commitment.

The 6-foot-3, 320-pound prospect, rated the nation's No. 5 defensive tackle, is down to a final four of Oregon, USC, Utah and Washington.

But Johnson has been leaning toward an Oregon commitment for months, and nothing has really changed.

In late November, the California product took an unofficial visit to Oregon and indicated he was unlikely to visit any other schools before Signing Day.

He also took an official visit to Eugene in last week - just ahead of his college commitment.

All signs point to "Johnson to Oregon," which would give the Ducks their most celebrated defensive line/edge-rusher haul in program history.

Lanning and defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi have already signed Mater Dei (California) five-star defensive lineman Aydin Breland and Salpointe Catholic (Arizona) five-star edge-rusher Elijah Rushing, as well as Durant (Oklahoma) All-American Bowl selection Xadavien Sims.

Johnson would be the proverbial cherry on top.
