Oregon Ducks recruits start '#Rushing2Eugene' hashtag for 5-star edge Elijah Rushing
The Oregon Ducks are all-in on the recruitment of Salpointe Catholic (Arizona) five-star edge-rusher Elijah Rushing.
Despite the nation's No. 1 edge-rusher's commitment to the Arizona Wildcats this summer, Dan Lanning's coaching staff has continued to recruit the bluechip prospect.
That effort gained steam earlier this month when defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi attended one of Rushing's games, which quickly led to a decommitment.
Since that time, things have been relatively quiet, although behind-the-scenes Rushing is believed to be heavily leaning toward a future in Eugene.
On Tuesday, Oregon recruits began to re-energize that hype with the hashtag #Rushing2Eugene on X/Twitter:
While Rushing has not yet formally set a date, his decision could come at any time.
It's worth monitoring, especially considering Oregon has established itself as the overwhelming leader.
