Ethan Barbour, nation's No. 4 tight end, scores 4 touchdowns in one quarter

Alpharetta (Georgia) four-star tight end Ethan Barbour had a second quarter to remember Friday night

Alpharetta (Georgia) four-star tight end Ethan Barbour is one of the top pass-catchers in America.

The 6-foot-3, 220-pound playmaker is down to a final five of Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Ohio State and South Carolina.

Rated the nation's No. 4 tight end, Barbour is set to announce his college commitment September 22.

On Friday, Barbour put together a performance that showed exactly why he is so coveted, scoring four touchdowns in the second quarter alone.

The final tally? Six receptions, 210 yards and four touchdowns heading into halftime.

Check it out:

While Barbour has largely kept his recruitment close to the vest, in-state Georgia is viewed as the favorite.

On3 gives the Bulldogs an 81.2 percent chance of securing his commitment, while the lone 247Sports prediction favors Georgia.

Given that the back-to-back champions are known for churning out elite tight ends, it would make sense for Barbour to stay home.

We'll see.
