The top uncommitted recruit in the country is no longer uncommitted.

IMG Academy (Florida) defensive lineman David Stone, a five-star recruit who began his high school career at Del City (Oklahoma), will be returning to the Sooner State.

Stone committed to Oklahoma during halftime of Saturday night's nationally-ranked showdown between No. 3 IMG Academy and No. 7 St. Joseph's Prep (Pennsylvania), donning a "Boomer Sooner" hat over other caps with Miami and Michigan State logos.

The 6-foot-4, 285-pound senior is the nation’s No. 2 defensive lineman and No. 6 overall prospect in the class of 2024, per the 247Sports composite rankings.

Stone is one of the Sooners' highest-ranked commit in the 247Sports composite era, joining the likes of five-star quarterbacks Caleb Williams, Spencer Rattler and Jackson Arnold.

With Stone joining Oklahoma's 2024 recruiting class, it climbed five spots to No. 11 in the national rankings.

In July, Stone announced his decision date and cut his list down to six schools: Florida, Miami, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Oregon and Texas A&M.

Stone transferred to IMG Academy prior to his junior season after two year at Del City, located less than 30 miles away from the University of Oklahoma.

Prior to revealing his college decision, Stone tallied three tackles, including a strip sack, in the first half against St. Joseph's Prep.
