In the class 2019, the safety position was uniquely loaded at the top with a pair of "can't miss" prospects according to 247Sports - Notre Dame-bound Kyle Hamilton and Michigan signee Daxton Hill.

Both drew NFL first-round pick projections and were seen as near-locks to make it to The League.

The other two sites saw it a little differently.

Turns out, 247Sports was right.

Hill was selected No. 31 overall by the Cincinnati Bengals.

Here's how Hill was viewed as a prospect coming out of Booker T. Washington High School (Oklahoma):

Ranking: 5-star prospect, Nation's No. 23 overall prospect, No. 2 safety

Notable: As previously noted, Hamilton and Hill were ranked 1-2.

Both are now NFL first-round draft picks.

Ranking: 5-star prospect; Nation's No. 24 overall prospect, No. 1 safety

Notable: Hill was No. 1, while Hamilton was listed at No. 7, behind notable names Nick Cross and Lewis Cine, who are projected to be draft this year as well.

Ranking: 5-star prospect; Nation's No. 13 overall prospect, No. 1 safety,

Notable: ESPN was highest on Hill, listing him as the No. 13 player nationally, ahead of Garrett Wilson, Derek Stingley Jr. and others.
