Chattanooga's Cole Strange doesn't have your typical NFL first-round pick profile, but he dominated the pre-draft process.

After trading down some, Strange was selected No. 29 overall by the New England Patriots.

Here's what he was rated as a prospect coming out of Farragut High School (Tennessee) in the class of 2016: 


Ranking: 2-star prospect; No. 149 defensive end 

Notable:Listed as a defensive end, one of Strange's strengths is his versatility.

But along the offensive line. 


Ranking: 2-star prospect; Not rated nationally or positionally

Notable: Chattanooga turned Strange into an offensive lineman, where he has blossomed. 


Ranking: No profile

Notable: ESPN was the only site not to rate Strange as a prospect.
