Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Pennsylvania high school athlete of the week for December 31 – January 6. Read through the nominees and cast your vote. Quinn Boettinger, Perkiomen Valley girls basketball

In a win over Norristown, the junior dropped a game-high 30 points.

Torrey Brooks, Jr., Neumann-Goretti boys basketball

The sophomore led the Saints in scoring with 23 points in an 84-57 win over Archbishop Carroll.

Ryan Ceh, Mars boys basketball

The senior scored 34 points, including 4-of-8 from deep, and grabbed 17 rebounds in a win over North Hills. He also led the Fightin' Planets with 19 points in a win over West Allegheny.

Alex Cozzens, North East girls basketball

Led the Grape Pickers with 27 points in a win over Eisenhower.

Mallory Daly, Seton LaSalle girls basketball

Paced the Rebels with 28 points in a win over Keystone Oaks.

Jack Dunbar, Peters Township boys basketball

Dialed it up seven times from deep en route to 31 points in a win over Connellsville.

Wayne Fletcher II, Central Dauphin boys basketball

In a 77-65 win over Harrisburg, the junior scored 30 points, grabbed six rebounds and blocked six shots.

Adah Fuller, Knoch girls basketball

Scored a career-high 25 points, including five 3-pointers, in a win over Freeport and drilled four 3-pointers and scored 19 points as in a 51-16 win over Derry.

Justin Glick, Lampeter-Strasburg boys basketball

Led the Pioneers with 24 points in a 64-55 win over Lancaster Catholic.

Ty Kapusta, Franklin Regional wrestling

In a matchup for first place in Section 3-3A, Kapusta won by pinfall at 127 pounds to help the Panthers remain unbeaten.

Peter Kramer, Hampton boys basketball

Knocked down six 3-pointers on his way to a game-high 28 points in a win over Indiana.

Taylor Kretz, McDowell bowling

Continued her dominance on the lanes with a high game of 268 and a series of 701 in the first match of the new year.

Led Corry with 28 points in a 65-58 win over Fort LeBoeuf. 

Emma Larkin, Geibel Catholic girls basketball

Despite a 54-42 loss to Monessen, the sophomore put up 31 points.

Megan Marston, Plum girls basketball

In a win over Woodland Hills, Marston not only led all scorers with 25 points, but also scored her 1,000th career point in the game.

Brady Mayo, Beaver boys basketball

Scored a game-high 33 points in a win over Blackhawk. 

Mya Morgan, Greensburg Central Catholic girls basketball

Scored 15 of her co-game-high 26 point sin the fourth quarter to help the Cenurions defeat Serra Catholic.  

David Naniewicz, Lakeland boys basketball

The sophomore had a double-double with 20 points and 15 rebounds as the Chiefs defeated Montrose 73-56.

Bryce Nicholson, Turkeyfoot Valley Area boys basketball

Nearly had a triple-double in an 83-73 win over Hundred (West Virginia), as he scored 25 points, had 10 rebounds and eight assists. He also had seven steals.

Libby Opp, General McLane girls basketball

Accounted for more than half her team’s points when she dropped in 24 in a 42-34 win over lakeview.

Luke Repko, Bishop Carroll boys basketball

The senior led the Huskies with 33 points in a 79-69 win over Penn Cambria.

Maddie Smith, Hughesville girls basketball

In a win over Warrior Run, the freshman knocked down four 3-pointers and scored a game-high 24 points while grabbing nine rebounds.

Reagan Smith, Red Lion girls basketball

The freshman scored a game-high 24 points in a 65-50 win over Hempfield.

Jillian Soder, Fort LeBoeuf girls basketball

Led all scorers with 21 points in a 47-35 win over Conneaut.

Tyler Simpson, Solebury boys basketball

Had 23 points, including three 3-pointers, and five assists in a win over Princeton Day (New Jersey).

Oumou Thiero, Quaker Valley girls basketball

In a 63-37 win over Ambridge, the sophomore scored 41 points. 

Courtney Wallace, Neighborhood Academy boys basketball

Posted a triple-double with 15 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists in a win over Aquinas Academy, while also scoring his 1,000th career point.

Natalie Wetzel, Peters Township girls basketball 

Scored a game-high 30 points in a 59-50 win over Plum.

Steven Willis, Corry wrestling

Wasted no time in his match in a dual against Union City, winning by pin fall in just 35 seconds.

Jhalynn Wilson, Woodland Hills girls basketball

In a win over Penn Hills, Wilson led all scorers with 24 points.
