Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Pennsylvania high school athlete of the week for December 3-9. Read through the nominees and cast your vote. Aleel Batts, Middletown boys basketball

In a 58-55 win over Twin Valley on Tuesday, he scored 20 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer.

Anthony Crews, Belle Vernon football

Returned the opening kickoff 78 yards for a touchdown in the Class 3A championship game and then took a jet sweep 62 yards for a score.

Mikal Davis, Imhotep Charter football

The Army commit had 184 yards passing and a score and ran for 85 yard and three touchdowns as the Panthers defeated Peters Township 38-14 in the Class 5A championship.

Alex Erby, Steelton-Highspire football

The Navy commit added his name to another spot in the Pennsylvania record books, becoming the all-time single-season passing touchdown leader. He finished the game 29-of-39 for 340 yards and five touchdowns. He also had a 37-yard rushing touchdown.

Anderson French, Red Land boys basketball

Had a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds in a 62-50 win over Ephrata on Tuesday.

Garrett Garcia, Southern Columbia football

Led the Tigers defense with 15 tackles in the Class 2A state championship game win over Westinghouse and also carried the ball 15 times for 73 yards, including a 28-yard run from the 1-yard-line on the game-winning drive.

Abby Genes, Serra Catholic girls basketball

Scored a game-high 27 points in a 59-52 win over Elizabeth Forward.

QaLil Goode, Aliquippa football

Intercepted three passes - including one he took back 85 yards for a touchdown - in a 60-14 win over Dallas in the Class 4A championship.

Khalil Green, Westinghouse football

In the Class 2A state championship game against Southern Columbia, he threw for 207 yards and a pair of scores and ran for 109 yards and a touchdown.

Tiqwai Hayes, Aliquippa football

In a 60-14 win over Dallas in the Class 4A championship game, the junior Penn State commit ran the ball 18 times for 220 yards and three touchdowns. 

Samaj Jones, St. Joseph's Prep football

The University of Cincinnati commit completed 14-of-17 passes for 232 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for 115 yards and three scores as the Hawks defeated North Allegheny 45-23 in the Class 6A championship game. 

Rylee Kalocay, Upper St. Clair girls basketball

Scored 28 points in a win over Thomas Jefferson.

Jayla Koser, Middletown girls basketball

Scored 23 points, grabbed eight rebounds and swiped eight steals in a 52-49 OT win over Northeastern. And then on Saturday, she had 28 points and 10 rebounds in a 64-57 win over Columbia.

Emma Larkin, Geibel Catholic girls basketball

In a win over PBHHS on Monday, the sophomore had 32 points, nine rebounds and nine steals.

Braylon Littlejohn, Butler boys basketball

In a 74-65 win over Kiski Area, scored a game-high 27 points.

Quinton Martin, Belle Vernon football

In the 38-7 win over Northwestern Lehigh in the Class 3A championship, the Penn State commit led the Leopards with 133 yards rushing on eight carries, including a 92-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

Jayden McBride, Erie Cathedral Prep girls basketball

In a win over Warren to start the season, the Georgetown University signee scored 23 points.

Nate Papuga, Derry boys basketball

Had a game-high 31 points in a 66-55 win over Connellsville.

Justin Shanor, Blackhawk boys basketball

In a 71-66 win over Rochester in the Midland Classic on Sunday, Shanor led Blackhawk with 27 points.

Iyanna Wade, Clairton girls basketball

Dropped in 33 points in a 58-42 win over North Allegheny.

Jabree Wallace-Coleman, Imhotep Charter football

The Gorgia commit ran for 214 yards on 30 carries, including a 68-yard touchdown run, as the Panthers defeated Peters Township 38-14 in the Class 5A championship.
