Donald Barksdale, Steel Valley football

Ran for 258 yards and six touchdowns in a 49-14 win over Burrell.

Ben Bigi, Greater Latrobe boys soccer

Scored the game-winner with 8:55 left in the second overtime for a 2-1 victory over Franklin Regional. The win gave the Panthers their most wins in a season with 12.

Luke Blessing, Mount Carmel football

Carried the ball 23 times for 153 yards and three scores and also had a touchdown catch in a win over Southern Columbia.

Jason Burney, Milton Hershey football

In a 47-44 win over Lower Dauphin, Burney threw for 386 yards and five touchdown passes. The final touchdown came with eight ticks remaining when he hit Mo Koroma for a 12-yard score.

Jenna Burney, Milton Hershey girls volleyball

In a win over Central Dauphin East, she had 27 assists and surpassed 500 assists for her career. 

Jordan Byers, West Perry boys field hockey 

In the championship game of the Cumberland Valley field hockey tournament, the Iowa commit scored the lone goal in overtime for. a 1-0 win over Cumberland Valley. 

Alex Erby, Steelton-Highspire football

A week after breaking the state of Pennsylvania career passing yardage record in a win over Camp Hill, Erby etched his name in the record book again as he threw for seven touchdown passes to become the leader in career touchdown passes in the state. He finished the game 17-of-21 for 435 yards and seven scores as the Rollers beat Newport 67-12.

Elijah Faulkner, Pittsburgh Central Catholic football

Had 27 carries for 143 yards and three touchdowns as the Vikings bounced back with a win over Penn Hills.

Armand Hill, West Mifflin football

In the first half alone, Hill ran for 313 yards and five touchdowns in a win over Quaker Valley.

Calder Mahan, Avonworth boys soccer

Scored both goals for the Antelopes in a 2-0 win over Beaver that gave Avonworth the Section 4-2A title.

Quinton Martin, Belle Vernon football

The Penn State recruit scored three touchdowns in a 55-7 win over Mt. Pleasant. He had a pair of 25-yard touchdown runs and hauled in a 15-yard touchdown catch.

Claire Paci, Greencastle-Antrim girls cross country 

Won the Mid-Penn cross country championship with a time of 18:35.8, which was more than 15 seconds better than the second place finisher. 

Jaivin Peel, Western Beaver football

Threw for 423 yards and five touchdowns in a 57-7 win over New Brighton.

Marcus Quaker, West Perry football

Threw for 233 yards and ran for 127 yards while accounting for four touchdowns in a 31-6 win over Middletown.

Brixx Rawl, Beaver Falls football

In a win over Ellwood City, he ran for 227 yards and three scores.

Eli Reider, Mechanicsburg football

In a 35-31 win over Waynesboro, Reider was 22-of-40 for 339 yards and five touchdown passes, including the game-winner to Henry Notarfrancesco with 1:13 left int the game.

Stone Saunders, Bishop McDevitt football

The University of Kentucky commit threw for 253 yards and six touchdowns in a 49-0 win over Red Land.

Bennett Secrest, Cedar Cliff football

Had 144 yards rushing and three touchdowns on the ground while also throwing for 111 yards and a score in a win over Palmyra.

Keith Spell, McKeesport football

Ran for 201 yards and two touchdowns, including a 79-yarder, in a win over Gateway.

Quadir Stribling, Serra Catholic football

Was 18-of-27 for 321 yards and five touchdowns as Serra Catholic defeated Ligonier Valley 47-0. 

Ava Weleski, Plum girls soccer 

With two minutes left in overtime against Franklin Regional, the senior found the back of the net on a penalty kick to give Plum a 1-0 win and their fifth straight section championship.
