Here are the candidates for the WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week as nominated by coaches, fans and readers.

Jalen Atkins, Barlow 

The junior guard sank six 3-pointers on his way to scoring a game-high 27 points for the Bruins in their 61-52 win over Sandy in a Class 6A state playoff second-round game at Barlow High School.

Seneca Ball, Madras

The senior guard had a huge double-double for the White Buffaloes with 33 points and 11 rebounds in their 84-70 victory over North Marion in a Class 4A state playoff first-round game at Madras High School.

Brayden Barron, Barlow

The junior stepped up with 18 points, 11 rebounds and four steals for the Bruins in their 61-52 victory over Sandy in a Class 6A state playoff second-round game at Barlow High School.

Pearson Carmichael, Summit

The senior broke his single-game school scoring record, pouring in 51 points with 19 rebounds and five blocks for the Storm in a 98-65 win over Caldera in an Intermountain Conference finale at Summit High School. He had 27 points and 14 rebounds in an 80-54 win over Canby in a Class 5A state playoff game.

Ty Dahlin, South Medford

The senior guard had a double-double for the Panthers with 14 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks in an 81-46 win over Cleveland in a Class 6A state playoff first-round contest at South Medford High School. 

Nick DiGiulio, West Linn

The senior guard sank six 3-pointers on his way to scoring a game-high 24 points for the Lions in their 74-62 victory at Jefferson in a Class 6A state playoff first-round contest.

Connor Dunlea, Lost River

The senior scored a game-high 26 points with four steals, two rebounds and an assist for the Raiders in their 57-54 win against Union in the Class 1A state tournament third-place contest at Baker High School. 

Emmitt Fee, Wilsonville

The junior post recorded a double-double for the Wildcats with 13 points and 15 rebounds in their 49-36 win over Central in a Class 5A state playoff first-round game at Wilsonville High School.

Kaiden Ford, Cascade

The junior guard stepped up with 20 points, five assists, four rebounds, four steals and a block for the Cougars in their 77-37 win over La Grande in a Class 4A state playoff first-round game at Cascade High School.

DaMari Hall, West Salem

The sophomore had 19 points in the Titans’ 79-70 second-round loss to Tualatin in the Class 6A state playoffs at Tualatin High School.

Cohen Haller, Willamina

The senior guard/forward tallied 26 points, five rebounds, two assists and a steal for the Bulldogs in a 65-60 loss to Regis in a Class 2A state tournament consolation game at the Pendleton Convention Center.

Cole Hammack, North Marion

The junior guard poured in 40 points for the Huskies in an 84-70 loss against Madras in a Class 4A state playoff first-round contest at Madras High School. 

Dax Hanzlik, Westside Christian

The senior guard recorded a game-high 32 points, six rebounds and four blocks for the Eagles in a 78-59 loss to Cascade Christian in the Class 3A state championship contest at Marshfield High School.

Owen Harper, Henley

The senior turned in a double-double for the Hornets with 14 points and 13 rebounds in their 59-53 win over Astoria in a Class 4A state playoff first-round contest at Henley High School.

Terrence Hill Jr., Roosevelt

The senior guard shined with 28 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals in the Roughriders’ 96-59 win over David Douglas in a Class 6A state playoff first-round game at Roosevelt High School.

Avery Huston, Cascade Christian

The freshman guard stepped up with 24 points, tying him for game-high honors, 10 rebounds, two assists and three steals for the Challengers in a 78-60 win over De La Salle North Catholic in a Class 3A state tournament quarterfinal game at North Bend High School.

Andrew Imhoff, Trinity Lutheran

The junior forward scored 40 points on 16-of-24 shooting with four rebounds, three steals and a block for the Saints in their 78-33 win over Crosshill Christian in a Class 1A state tournament quarterfinal game at Baker High School.

Pat Kilfoil, Jesuit

The sophomore guard scored a team-high 21 points to help lead the Crusaders to a 60-47 win over South Medford in a Class 6A state playoff second-round tilt at Jesuit High School.

Landon Knox, Cascade 

The junior guard had 18 points, six assists, three rebounds and two steals in helping lead the Cougars to a 77-37 victory against La Grande in a Class 4A state playoff first-round contest at Cascade High School.

Isaiah Koehnke, Regis

The junior guard/wing had 25 points, seven assists, three rebounds and two steals for the Rams in a 72-59 victory against East Linn Christian in the Class 2A state third-place game at the Pendleton Convention Center.

Tee Ledbetter, Union

The senior recorded a double-double for the Bobcats with 17 points and 14 rebounds in their 82-51 win over Crosshill Christian in a consolation game at the Class 1A state tournament at Baker High School.

Matthew Luke, West Salem

The senior sank eight 3-point baskets on his way to scoring a team-high 27 points for the Titans in their 91-74 victory against Nelson in a Class 6A state playoff first-round game at West Salem High School.

Austin Maurer, Cascade Christian

The senior post had 29 points, 18 rebounds and three blocks to help lead the Challengers to a 78-59 win over Westside Christian in the Class 3A state championship game at Marshfield High School.

Carter Nichols, Crane

The senior guard stepped up with a game-high 26 points, five rebounds and three assists for the Mustangs in their 56-41 win over Trinity Lutheran in a Class 1A state tournament semifinal game at Baker City High School.

Carson Reilley, Sandy

The senior made the winning basket with 2 seconds left in the Pioneers’ 46-44 victory over Sherwood in a Class 6A first-round game at Sherwood High School. 

Kai Russell, Westview

The junior guard led the way with 20 points in the Wildcats’ 42-40 win over Oregon City in a Class 6A first-round game at Oregon City High School.

Cody Siegner, Crane

The junior center/forward had 24 points, nine rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals in leading the Mustangs to a 61-44 win over Union in a Class 1A state tournament quarterfinal game at Baker High School. He had 23 points, nine rebounds and an assist in a 65-51 win over Nixyaawii in the state title contest. 

Jaden Steppe, Tualatin

The senior wing tallied a game-high 30 points, including 17 in the first half, in leading the Timberwolves to a 79-70 win over West Salem in Class 6A state playoff second-round game at Tualatin High School.

Quincy Townsend, Mountain View

The senior guard tallied a game-high 34 points for the Cougars in their 75-72 victory at Ridgeview in an Intermountain Conference finale.

Cruz Veliz, Woodburn

The junior scored a game-high 23 points to help lead the Bulldogs to a 70-48 win over Caldera in a Class 5A state playoff first-round game at Woodburn High School.

Jackson Weiland, South Medford

The senior guard stepped up with 28 points, six rebounds and five assists in leading the Panthers to an 81-46 win over Cleveland in a Class 6A state playoff first-round tilt at South Medford High School.

Owen Williams, Astoria

The senior scored a game-high 34 points for the Fishermen in a 59-53 loss against Henley in a Class 4A state playoff first-round contest at Henley High School.

Josh Zander, Crane

The junior wing/guard turned in a double-double for the Mustangs with a game-high 25 points and 10 rebounds in their 65-51 victory against Nixyaawii in the Class 1A state championship game at Baker City High School.

Marley Zeller, Central Catholic

The senior tallied a game-high 27 points for the Rams in their 85-56 win over North Medford in a Class 6A state playoff first-round game at Central Catholic High School.
