Here are the candidates for the WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week as nominated by coaches, fans and readers.

Joey Banry, North Eugene

The senior guard scored 32 points on a 13-of-18 shooting night and had five rebounds and three assists for the Highlanders in their 88-55 win over Springfield in a Midwestern League game at North Eugene High School.

Jack Bents, Caldera

The junior guard scored 20 points on an 8-for-13 shooting night from the field for the Wolfpack in an Intermountain Conference game against Mountain View.

Mason Bierbrauer, Barlow

The junior forward had 19 points and seven rebounds to help the Bruins post a 55-36 win over Sandy in a Mt. Hood Conference game at Barlow High School.

Tyler Bradford, Liberty

The senior forward stepped up with a double-double for the Falcons, recording 22 points and 12 rebounds in their 76-54 win over Century in a Pacific Conference game at Century High School.

Jack Brauckmiller, Canby

The freshman had 22 points, four rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block for the Cougars in their 74-59 win over Parkrose in a Northwest Oregon Conference game at Canby High School.

Pearson Carmichael, Summit

The senior scored a school-record 45 points in leading the Storm to a 79-56 win at Caldera in an Intermountain Conference game. He had a near triple-double with 18 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists in a 67-44 win over Bend.

Jayden Churchwell, Yoncalla

The sophomore wing/forward had a double-double for the Eagles with 26 points and 10 rebounds in their 61-50 home win against Riddle in a Skyline League finale.

Sawyer Clemett, Hood River Valley

The senior scored a team-high 30 points to help the Eagles edge Milwaukie 65-59 in a Northwest Oregon Conference contest at Milwaukie High School.

Chase Corwin, Pilot Rock

The senior guard sank seven 3-point baskets on his way to scoring a game-high 30 points for the Rockets in their 62-15 home win over Griswold in an Old Oregon League contest.

Ty Dahlin, South Medford 

The senior guard turned in a strong all-around performance for the Panthers with 25 points on 10-of-14 shooting, seven rebounds, four assists and two blocks in their 88-78 win over Roseburg in a Southwest Conference game at South Medford High School.

Joseph Fusco, Oakland

The junior guard scored a game-high 26 points, sinking four 3-pointers, and had six rebounds for the Oakers in their 72-39 win over Illinois Valley in a Valley Coast Conference contest.

Dax Hanzlik, Westside Christian

The senior guard poured in a school-record 50 points, shooting 22 for 33 from the field, and had 11 rebounds in helping the Eagles soar to an 84-58 win over Horizon Christian in a Lewis & Clark League game at Westside Christian High School.

Dylan Harper, Phoenix

The senior guard sank six 3-pointers on his way to pouring in 40 points for the Pirates in their 73-71 victory at Klamath Union in a Skyline Conference clash.

Levi Hawes, South Eugene

The junior led the way for the Axe with 20 points, nine rebounds and an assist in a 68-62 win over Grants Pass in a Southwest Conference game at Grants Pass High School.

Terrence Hill Jr., Roosevelt

The senior guard had another big game for the Roughriders, scoring 31 points with three assists and six steals in an 87-68 win at Lincoln in a Portland Interscholastic League contest. He had 22 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists in an 88-69 victory at Jefferson.

Gavin Inglish, Pleasant Hill

The junior guard had a double-double with 25 points, 11 rebounds and four assists in the Billies’ 56-38 win over Siuslaw in a Mountain Valley Conference game at Pleasant Hill High School.

Brysen Kachel, West Albany

The senior forward had another big game for the Bulldogs, this time scoring a game-high 32 points in a 99-52 victory at Lebanon in a Mid-Willamette Conference contest.

Houston Klug, North Medford

The senior wing had 19 points, seven rebounds and five assists to help the Black Tornado tip Grants Pass 63-60 in a Southwest Conference game at North Medford High School. He had 31 points, five rebounds and three assists in a 63-49 win over Sheldon.

Sam Lewis, Nelson

The senior guard/wing poured in 34 points to pace the Hawks in a 103-66 win over David Douglas in a Mt. Hood Conference contest at David Douglas High School.

Miles Macomber, Caldera

The junior guard had 26 points and six assists for the Wolfpack in a 79-66 loss to Summit in an Intermountain Conference game at Caldera High School.

Austin Maurer, Cascade Christian

The senior center had another big game for the Challengers, this time with 33 points and seven rebounds in an 80-44 win at Lakeview in a Far West League contest.

Dallas Michel, Canby

The senior guard shined with a game-high 25 points, five assists, two rebounds and two steals in a 78-60 win over La Salle Prep in a Northwest Oregon Conference game at Canby High School.

Malachi Muthiah, Newberg

The senior guard scored a game-high 30 points to help the Tigers edge Forest Grove 50-48 in a Pacific Conference game at Newberg High School.

Ahshua Neal, Centennial

The junior had a double-double for the Eagles with 16 points and 14 rebounds in their 55-28 win over Hillsboro in a Northwest Oregon Conference game at Centennial High School.

Tanner Overby, Lincoln

The senior poured in 37 points to pace the Cardinals in their 70-61 win over Grant in a Portland Interscholastic League game at Grant High School. He scored 34 points in an 87-68 loss to Roosevelt.

Ian Pearson, Redmond

The junior turned in a double-double for the Panthers with 16 points and 10 assists in their 62-59 victory at Ridgeview in an Intermountain Conference clash.

Jaiden Pickett, Putnam

The junior wing stepped up with a game-high 32 points in leading the Kingsmen to a 63-28 win over Hillsboro in a Northwest Oregon Conference game at Putnam High School.

Ian Prictor, Mountain View

The senior center scored 22 points, including 16 in the second half, in helping lead the Cougars to a 64-49 win over Caldera in an Intermountain Conference game at Caldera High School.

Jalen Snook, West Linn

The junior guard sank six 3-pointers on his way to tallying a game-high 27 points with six rebounds, three steals and an assist for the Lions in their 60-51 win over Lake Oswego in a Three Rivers League contest at Lake Oswego High School.

Jaden Steppe, Tualatin

The senior wing had 30 points, nine rebounds, five assists, a steal and a block for the Timberwolves in their 80-61 win over rival Tigard in a Three Rivers League game at Tualatin High School. He had 28 points in a 77-65 victory against Oregon City.

Jackson Weiland, South Medford

The senior guard had 30 points, six rebounds and six assists in the Panthers’ 88-78 win over Roseburg in a Southwest Conference game at South Medford High School.
