Andrew Allen of Elkton voted the WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week

Allen received 69.67% of the vote, beating out Silverton’s Brody Kuenzi, who finished second with 26.02%

Congratulations to Elkton’s Andrew Allen for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 15-21. 

Allen, a senior guard on the Elkton team, scored a game-high 17 points and dished out eight assists in the Elks’ 74-24 home win over Glendale in a Skyline League contest.

Allen received 69.67% of the vote, beating out Brody Kuenzi, a junior on the Silverton team, who finished second with 26.02%. Jessley Bukeyeneza, a junior on the Century team, was third with 1.21% and Gabe Williamson, a junior on the Oakland team, was fourth with 0.20%. There were nearly 9,000 votes tallied this week.
