Southridge (6A), North Eugene (5A) and Baker (4A), Westside Christian (3A), Regis (2A) and Crane (1A) sit atop SBLive's class-by-class computer rankings

The Southridge Skyhawks (13-1) remain the top team in SBLive's Class 6A Oregon high school boys basketball computer rankings.

Roosevelt is No. 2 in the latest 6A computer rankings, followed by Tualatin, Central Catholic and Jesuit. .

North Eugene (13-1) remains No. 1 in the Class 5A rankings, followed by Summit, Wilsonville, Eagle Point and Putnam.

Baker (20-1) is No. 1 in the 4A rankings, followed by Junction City, Marist, Philomath and Cascade.

SBLive's computer rankings formula was created using its own linear algebra-based ranking algorithm inspired by the Colley Bias-Free Ranking Method. Colley’s Method was created by Wes Colley, Ph.D., an astrophysicist at the University of Alabama at Huntsville. He devised his algorithm in order to help address the subjectivity and controversy regarding BCS college football selections in the 1990s and early 2000s, using a method that used no subjective variables.
