Jarod Stanley of Sprague voted the WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week

Stanley received 40.91% of the vote, beating out Roseburg’s Owen Bentea, who finished second with 26.98%

Congratulations to Sprague’s Jarod Stanley for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 1-7. 

Stanley, a junior guard on the Sprague team, scored 30 points to help lead the Olympians to a 70-50 win over Forest Grove in a nonleague tilt at Sprague High School. 

Stanley received 40.91% of the vote, beating out Owen Bentea, a junior on the Roseburg team, who finished second with 26.98%. Eddie Szabatin, a sophomore on the Reynolds team, was third with 3.52% and Tanner Overby, a senior on the Lincoln team, was fourth with 13.62%. There were nearly 26,000 votes tallied this week.
