Jayden Montgomery of North Douglas voted the WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week

Montgomery received 50.44% of the vote, beating out Jesuit’s Pat Kilfoil, who finished second with 43.33%

Congratulations to North Douglas’ Jayden Montgomery for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week of Dec. 25-31. 

Montgomery, a junior guard on the North Douglas team, poured in 36 points to lead the Warriors to a 67-31 victory against Camas Valley at the Bandon Dunes Invitational.

Montgomery received 50.44% of the vote, beating out Pat Kilfoil, a junior on the Jesuit team, who finished second with 43.33%. Dennis Bondar, a junior on the McKay team, was third with 3.52% and Isaac Bongen, a freshman on the Jesuit team, was fourth with 1.44%. There nearly 40,000 votes tallied this week.
